I purchased 2 pair, taupe & blue. They are the only shoes I could wear all summer because of my aching flat feet & planter fasciitis. Seriously, no foot pain at all since I started wearing these shoes. And they are really cute & I received many compliments on them. My only issue is that, just like any other shoes I have with Velcro, they didn't fit my ankle snuggly enough. It was resolved easily when I put some extra Velcro on myself though. It was very simple to find Velcro in the grocery store & I simply stuck it to the trap. I'll include a picture. Other than that they are very sturdy to walk in and more comfortable than I expected. I'll wear them until the snow comes.

As another reviewer said, they're not the best looking sandal, but they are super comfortable and offer great support.. The suede is really soft and the straps close nicely. I have skinny ankles and often find that velcro on straps doesn't extend far enough for a tight close, but these do. Definitely recommend.

These sandals are wonderful right out of the box! I will say though, they run a 1/2 to a full size smaller than my ‘High Tide’ sandals. I originally ordered a size 8W, which is my standard size in all Vionic sandals, but had to exchange for the 8 1/2W and could probably have made a 9W work too. A friend said they were really cute. I think they are an attractive sandal and are quite are comfortable. They are a little pricey, but worth it to be able to wear them all day the first time I put them on. Thank you Vionic, my feet are happy. I can’t wait to wear them again.

I travel for work, and spend 10 hours on my feet for 5-6 days in a row. These are one of two pairs of heels/wedges that I can wear without wanting to cut my feet off. They’re not super sexy, but I’ll take comfort and sacrifice a little sexy.

I wore these to work the day after they arrived. Normally I wear sneakers to work and change when I get to the office, but these wear comfortable on the train and the walk to the office. They are very cute, too. I don't think I've ever paid this much for shoes with velcro before, but you can't tell just by looking at them, and they feel very secure. I'm super excited about my new shoes!

I’m keeping these shoes and will probably get a lot of wear out of them. I got an 8W which is my ideal size. They fit perfectly. They are really comfortable and the adjustability of both straps makes them great for me, since my feet sometimes swell. I’m not sure they are the most stylish shoes out there but they’re not hideous either and they feel good on my aching feet. I wish they were a different material. They are sort of a velvet/suede texture which seems really wintery when I will be wearing them in the 100° summer.

I normally wear a 9 in Vionic sandals. My 3rd snd 4th toe were on edge in a 9.5. Thin ankles and barely enough Velcro to close straps.

I love these shoes. I have narrow feet, so the velcro was wonderful in helping me get the perfect fit. I have plantar fasciitis and am so glad to have found Vionic Shoes. l liked them enough to order them in all three colors.

I love everything about these sandals! The taupe color has a slight green tone which looks great.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and felt even better as the day went on. It was my first time to try the Vionic brand, and I will definitely try Vionic again.

These were comfortable but run VERY small. I'm usually a 9.5 and have a very narrow foot, but even the 10 was too short for my apparently giant clodhoppers. Unfortunately, they're now sold out in the color/size combo I would need so I'll have to return them and find another shoe.

I just have foot surgery ( ball of my foot) in June. These shoes are extremely comfortable because they have a wedge where the balls of my feet are not absorbing all the weight of my foot. This color could be a light grey. Could be an olive green. A great neutral. I love the adjustable straps around both ankle and top of my foot.

From my 14 yr old granddaughter to my 82 year old mom, everyone loves these shoes on me. Very comfortable and stylish looking. Broke my ankle 12 weeks ago and was worried about the stability of the platform - but very stable. And easy to walk in. Wore them all day walking around a farmers market and then the walkway in the park, and comfortable the entire time. The fact that the front part is adjustable is the best part for bunions, high arches, and anyone with different sized feet!

Loved the shoe and may reorder at a different time but I had to pick from 3 and chose a different one.

I have a high instep and the Velcro strap at front allows me to make the fit just right and not too tight! Very comfortable right out of the box and dint feel like walking on platforms.

I was skeptical about this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and hurt really bad.... but these shoes literally SAVED MY LIFE. I cannot tell you why, except it must be the arch. If you want to walk again, make this investment!

Loved this shoe. First time trying Vionic. SO comfortable. Wanted so badly to keep it, but I'd also ordered a pair of "Sam" from Dansko for $80 less (on sale)! I've worn Danskos before and couldn't resist the deal. Not as cushiony as Vionic, but for just over $140... had to go with a "known-known" I could count on than take a chance on a new brand! Astrid II: If we are meant to be, I'll be back! ;)

These are the most comfortable heels I've ever worn! Now that plantar fasciitis has made it impossible for me to wear regular heels for longer than an hour or two, I need shoes with the comfort of a flat but still have the height. Granted, they're very casual (hint to Vionic: Make dressy comfort heels!), and are really only for warmer weather, but to have a heel I can wear for 15 hours at a time and not have any foot pain whatsoever is worth the limited use!

I'm going to a wedding so ordered one pair of comfy and one glittery. I think the Vionic Astrid II is definitely dressy enough to wear with dresses or a nice pant suit even though they are simple. I got the Taupe which I think goes with brown or black. They are amazingly comfortable and they give me 3 inches. I really like the fact that my toes don't show too much. I have worn thongs since I was a kid and mother said I would get a space between my toes. She was right so I usually only wear thongs. If you guess I am older, your right. My generation wore socks with sandals like these. I can do it again, since they are adjustable and wear them in the winter unless it's snowy. Oh I'm keeping the sparkle ones too. They are too pretty to send back and actually quite comfortable.

I'm 7 months pregnant, and with the summer heat my feet have swollen to the point where none of my regular shoes fit. I just bought this shoe, and it's perfect to see me through the rest of my pregnancy (and beyond). It's really comfortable and also stylish (I like how the platform gives me some height without any discomfort), and the adjustable straps are really helpful while I'm dealing with swelling feet. Highly recommend!

I think these shoes are really cute, unlike a couple of other reviewers. The fit is amazing, they are super comfortable, and a pleasure to walk in. Proof - this is my second pair, different color! I love that you can adjust the fit across your toes, as I usually have a problem with sandals fitting because of extra space between the shoes and my toes. Oh, and I love shopping at Zappos!

i really love these 3 inch sandals. they have velcro on the top and the ankle. perfect for me because there is usually a large space between my foot and the sandal strap. i have only worn them to dinner so at most 3 hours but my feet felt pretty good when i got home. love vionics and i always order them from zappos- my favorite company! they make it so easy to order and return if i have to.

i really like these. i always wear vionic shoes and these are the first heels and they fit very nice!

I got size 37. Fits very comfortably, true to size. I have thin ankles and the Velcro fits well. The heel and step feel smooth. I only wore one day, but will be wearing a lot more. I have plantar fascitis and high arch, and I feel these can be worn with a dress, but not stylish enough to wear for a formal occasion. I had good results with other Vionic shoes too. I may buy the other colors too.

These are more comfortable than the Tawney. The soles are a bit cushiony, which I like. I got the W which fits perfectly because there’s the adjustable Velcro front. Otherwise probably my toe would slip through and push my feet too far forward which is what the Tawney does. I have 2 paid of each but needed W in these and M in the Tawney’s. I have not worn for an extended time yet but I’m sure they are comfy.
