Well made, fits well. I am 5'7" and have long arms. The sleeves and jacket length are perfect for me. Seems like it will be warm. Have not had a chance to test it on the slopes. I love the 3 in 1 concept, so I have a rain jacket, a puffy jacket, and the combination. Will be perfect for my trip to Alaska. I only wish more colors were available in plus sizes. I got black as that was pretty much it in my size. Would love to have gotten a more interesting color, like a teal or purple. Please note that plus women like to play in the snow and look good doing it, just as much as our slim sisters! I wish there were snaps instead of velcro on the front closure. Velcro catches on the pretty scarves I like to wear when not skiing. As with almost all womens jackets (except those available to elite athlete skinny women) there need to be more pockets!!! I wish there was a goggle pocket on the inside. I like chest pockets as I am not super busty and would rather add bulk there than at my midsection. The existing midsection pockets are large enough to warm my long fingered hands, and could hold gloves if not too bulky. I like the stitching on the puffy jacket. It is more flattering that the horizontal lines of so many jackets.

It is a very warm jacket, perfect for Wyoming life. Yet I did not like that the sleeves are short. I had a ready taken the tag off, when I relaice it. I am assuming that it is because I got the women plus 2xl, instead of the regular 2xl. Again, it is warm, comfortable and beautiful. Yet if you are 5'10" it will be short length to your arms. It is wide enough, but no fir long arms.

I found it a little snug in the shoulders. So if you are muscular in the shoulders, you may want to size up.

Love the color and warmth of the coat. Just wish it was a little longer.

This coat is seriously warm! I wish it was just a little bit thinner because when I'm driving it's a little bit bulky but overall I'm happy with my purchase! This is my 3rd Columbia coat and I have never bee disappointed!

I needed a new jacket as the zipper on my old jacket finally gave way (after about 15 years!!!). I had a hard time finding jackets as they are made so much smaller!!!!!! I originally tried to buy the brand that made my old jacket but could not fit in the jacket at all (even though it was labeled the same size that I had been wearing). I have worn the Columbia brand before and so I came back to Columbia. Thank goodness they carry the plus size as I had to move into the plus size. The jacket runs small. Consider ordering up in size. I took the advice of other reviews that made the recommendation, and I am glad that I did. The jacket is warm and has good pockets. I like the blue color. The only reason I did not give the jacket a 5 star review is that the zipper is rather cheap. It is sometimes hard to zipper and has gone off the track a few times. I have to be more careful how I zip the jacket.

The inside is a bit flashy/loud but that was ok and unfortunately I thought the jacket was black, the color label was Black Crossdye but it's really a charcoal color-huge difference when wearing black pants (see photo) . I'm VERY disappointed with color. Other than that I LOVE the waterproof and pockets

I was searching for a new ski jacket for a while, as not many places carry plus sizes. There was only one size in this jacket left (3X), so I took a gamble. Normally I wear a 2X. Yes, this jacket is a little big but I am not sure a 2X would be able to fit a sweatshirt under it comfortably. I love the color and the check design. It had everything I was looking for with outside pockets and the separate lining that can be worn separately. I would give it 5 stars however the outside zipper is a not so sturdy nylon zipper and I am not sure how it will hold up. I will deal with that when or IF time comes.

I love the jacket and the amazing functionality of it. The inner jacket is warm on it's own and looks good. The outer jacket colour was a surprise, I did not blow up the image when ordering to see that there was a tiny stripe in the white...it is not quite as tiny in Real life. However, I kept the jacket thinking that having the stripe may help the jacket to look clean longer.

This coat is warm enough. I don't sweat unless it's too warm outside in it. The jacket design fits me perfectly. The arms are a bit tight. And the zipper itself could be bigger and string could be thicker on pull. Pockets are only big enough for two gloves. Overall though the jacket is very nice and warm and my complaints are minor. I remember when Columbia had a thicker zipper on their jackets and my last one lasted almost 10 years before the zipper broke.

I am 5'9, 210lb, size 14/16 rectangular shape. I purchased a XL and 1X. The XL interior coat was insanely short and was a bit too fitted to wear a hoodie underneath. The exterior fit perfectly. But, that's the catch, right? The interior is going to have to be smaller than the exterior to zip into one piece. The 1X interior fit decent, but was still too short. The exterior was hugeat least 6-8 extra inches. If you have a similar body type and size, this isn't the jacket for you.

Good overall jacket bad zipper it tends to split consider upsizing I ordered a 2x and wear a 1x it runs smaller

Love the look and style of this jacket. I do not like he zipper-it just doesn't always work.

I like the coat and the fact that it's a interchangeable coat. However, the main zipper for the outer coat keeps separating when I least expect it, which is very annoying. The coat fits fine, but that zipper needs to be updated to one of the heavier zippers like the inner coat uses. I love the sleeve length, and pockets. I'm still on undecided on the Omni-Heat lining if its really any warmer than a regular coat or jacket.

My review is based on size and appearance only purchased in July for skiing this winter going to Alaska in October.Columbia where All runs too small they expect all of their customer to be twigs I wear a 2X in all other vendors I weigh 225 pounds 5'11 and Ski this jacket is too tight around the middle and it's not long enough has some nice features would've been nice to put a cell phone pocket in it ski pass pocket is almost too small don't like the puffy interior jacket removing it and will never wear it

I really like the style of this jacket and how versatile it is. The fit was true. I am sorry however, that it does not breath at all! The new technology is great as it creates warmth but it doesn't allow for air flow. It sticks to your skin if you get hot and makes it uncomfortable. I have only worn it a few times for this reason and wish I had known about it before hand. I will be looking for a different jacket next season.

I have been wearing a Columbia coat for many years, and was happy with the quality and durability. After such long use, the zipper began to be fussy and I considered getting a new coat, and while I was at it go from a 1x to a 2 for a little extra room. I normally wear a 2x in every other plus size so ordered a 2x in this style and several others. The sleeves and back were all too tight compared to my old coat! The 2x would zip, but it was tight through the chest, shoulders, and arms. The sleeves were short, the coat did not cover the hips or butt, and the range of motion nil. No way I could ski in this. Very disappointed. I did try a 3x and that was still tight in the arms. Women who are plus are plus all over.

Definitely size up, there is no give at the bottom of the jacket or extra room to account for hips. I also found it to be tight across my chest. I am a bigger bodied person and was frustrated / disappointed trying this on as I could only get it zipped if I hoisted the jacket up under my bust. Please please make your plus size clothes for plus size bodies - account for extra room around the hip and bust. I can tell the quality is great, it was nice and toasty while I tried it on.

I bought a 3XL which was extremely large on me, but per the size chart should have fit. Returned that I bought at 2XL which is about 5 inches too small on me. How are these sizes so extremely different and don't go based off of the size chart at all. Now I'll pay to return them a second time and order from elsewhere as I'm not gambling with a third order.

EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of this coat's zipper. Zipper broke on the first day. I've never had that happen before. Other than that, it was warm, with lots of pockets, and I was looking forward to wearing it. End of Columbia purchases for my family.
