Fantastic shoe. Only footwear I can use to walk. I'm over 70, so these shoes were a blessing for me. No more foot, knee, back and hip pain. I have to walk my dog at least 2-3 times a day, and these have been a blessing. As with any athletic shoe, depending on were/impact, to get the full benefits, you probably have to replace them a few times a year.

I am not a runner; however, these are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn! They needed no "breaking in" and were perfect instantly! The width is amazing! I will order another pair soon!

I have been looking for some good walking shoes. I have wearing a different brand and I wasn't happy with the shoe fit. These shoes are comfortable and I don't have blisters between my toes. I walk half marathons and I am happy to find my new go to shoe.

The slightly wider footbed in the Addiction 14 has proven this new style to be roomier and much more comfortable than the Addiction 13. Thank you for the change!! Ellen Martin

I am very pleased with these shoes. However, I am unable to run right now...am walking instead. Anyhow, these shoes offer good support and alignment while being lightweight. I recommend them.

Excellent support. I bought these as a suggestion to help with flat feet and they have been great. Definitely a relief for my aching feet!

Great shoe! Love the wide toe box, no seams to irritate toes or bunions. Good support while still having soft cushioned fee.

I know this is a website for running gear. But not everyone is a runner and we still love your shoes. I take Jazzercise class 6 day/week and use a treadmill (for walking) 3 day/week when I cannot get outside to walk. I bought my first pair of Brooks Addiction at a Frontrunner store in Upper Arlington Ohio. After videoing my walking stride on a treadmill and a 3-D image of my feet, the sales person (Barry) brought me 3 pair of shoes (different brands) and this was his #1 choice for my feet. I couldn't agree more. My jazzercise shoes are used in studio only (no outside wear ever). I have another pair of Addiction for long walks and treadmill. These are the shoes I wear every day. I am 73 yo and keep an active lifestyle. Brooks is a big part of making that possible. Many thanks for a quality product. PS A big part of the proper shoe is finding a knowledgeable and experienced sales person who has the proper equipment to recommend the appropriate footwear. Even the best Brooks shoe will not be comfortable or work correctly if it is not the right equipment for the need.

These are great shoes for "special feet." I have had several surgeries correcting my accessory navicular and I am thankful that these shoes keep me running. The Brooks Ariel has an uneven heel allowing for the shoe to roll outward but these kick straight back.

I absolutely love these shoes. This is my fourth of fifth pair!

Great shoes for narrow women's feet.

I was so excited to find an 11.5 in women's shoes that did not look like a pair of clodhoppers. The toe box is great and my smaller toes don't rub on the sides of it like the do in most of my shoes. I did use my own pair of orthotics inside for a bit of extra support in the arch, though these are not bad on their own. I wore them to shop for two and a half hours yesterday and my toes did not hurt and that is a big deal in my world!

I?m not a runner, but I love my several pairs of addiction 13 and 14. I had a serious foot injury last year and bought them at my podiatrist?s suggestion.
