The toe box felt small to me. I wear inserts in my shoes so I always buy 2E, but this time they didn't feel right.
I'd also recommend:
I prefer Brooks to all others.

I have worn Addictions for over a decade. I was disappointed that the tongue is both shorter and less cushioned than previous models. A shorter tongue makes putting them on obnoxious as I always have to poke around to pull the tongue out. Aggravating! I also feel there is a little less cushioning around the ankle. As always, great stability.

Super delightfully cushy and supportive! Slightly heavy, but I suppose that's the trade off for comfort :)

size and fit are good. I use orthodics for arch support. Both shoes squeek when I walk

I have purchased Brooks running shoes for years. I am not a runner, but a true walker. I average between 15,000 to 20,000 steps per day. My most recent go to shoe was the Brooks Transcend, then found out Brooks doesn't make this shoe anymore so I was on a mission to find a replacement. The replacement Brooks recommended did not work and in my opinion was no where close to the Transcend. I tried many different Brooks styles, as recommended by Brooks and my local fitness store, who sells Brooks shoes. I was just about to give up until a friend of mine told me about the Addiction 14. I find most Brooks shoes run small, so I usually go up 1/2 size. Not for this shoe. The toe box and arch support was the best fit for me in my usual size 8. The Addiction 14 is light weight but does give me the support I need while walking.

I wear a 9N and have a very narrow heel. These shoes fit virtually the same as the Ghost 13 and Adrenaline GTS. All 3 fit acceptably well, and felt remarkably similar. However, I decided to keep the Ghosts since they seemed to provide a touch more support and stability. These might work better for you, though, so definitely check them out if you have narrow feet.

I've had Addictions in the past and they seemed more sturdy. I did like the memory foam type confusion and the lightness of the shoe. I wear about my arch being secure.

So far so good with my new Addictions. I have worn Aeriels for many years but because of changes in my feet, I needed a wider toe box and did go to wide width. I do not run, but walk, and so far the Addiction 14 is good. The support is the same as the Aerils and my feet need that support. And thank you to Jesse the Brooks support person who gave me great advice. Thanks again Janet Rush

Overall great, comfortable shoe - still breaking it in. Converted from Ghost to Addiction due to feet problems. So far, liking the fit.

I have a narrow foot and need a narrow width. This sneaker was a little wider than other narrow width sneakers I have purchased from other manufacturers.

These shoes are comfortable and fit well. I ordered a size 7, but I wear orthotics in all my shoes. I'm not a runner, but a long distance walker. I would purchase these shoes again. It's rainy in my area, and they leak about as much as all my other shoes.

I've been wearing the Addiction line of shoes for 10 years. Definitely not the quality they used to have but it does fit well. Good shoes overall.

So far its a good shoe. I like the fit. I have a narrow foot, so it definitely complements. I would prefer a little more cushioning. This is the 3rd pair of brooks I have bought in the last 4 years.

It does not meet all of my needs as the Addiction 13 did. It is comfortable but the ball of my right foot tends to roll outward and the Addiction 14 does not compensate for that like the 13 did. The Addiction 14 does have a lot of support which is great. I live in my tennis shoe. I walk on the treadmill almost daily and wear them all day. I'm active from walking on the treadmill, shopping, cleaning house to playing with 2 young grandchildren.

I like my Addiction 14 but preferred the Addiction 13, felt they had a little more cushion. Overall really like my Brooks though.

I find the shoe very comfortable, but not as well suited to my feet as the Ghost 12. I wish I could get another pair of those in my size and wide!!!!

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS for several years but thought I'd give the Addiction a try to compare. I need a stability shoe and a WW, so options are limited, so I want to try any option I can find that fits my needs. The Addiction is definitely more stiff than the Adrenaline, probably good for my pronation issues, but it took a little breaking in and getting used to. They aren't bad, just not quite as comfortable as the Adrenaline so I'll probably stick with those in the future.
I'd also recommend:
I haven't found any other brands that fit my specific needs as well as Brooks.

Comfy, but ugly, and toe box is too wide. I have two pair of Addiction 13, and feel they are a better fit, more cushy, and far more stylish. Toe box is too wide in this and only one color combo had a little pizazz (black and hot pink), and needless to say, that was sold out almost immediately in my size. Was hoping to be able to avoid going to running shoes store, but now have no choice. Brooks, when you find a style and fit that works for majority of people, don't mess with it! Disappointed!
