I fell in love with Brooks after purchasing a pair of the Ricochet's. Before buying these, I would use my older running shoes as my every day shoes. After continually struggling with foot issues (most likely plantar fasciitis) I realized that maybe I should buy a brand new pair for when I'm not running. I wanted to go with Brooks because I loved them so much as a running shoe, so I decided to go with the Revel 3 (while I did not buy the holiday version, I was drawn to the shoe because of that). Boy, oh, boy did I ever make the perfect decision. These shoes are so comfortable. I genuinely look forward to having an opportunity to wear them.

Love it!!!! I use my shoes for work, which requires me to stand for most of the day. My shoes give me good support, cushion and the comfort I need to get through an 8 hour shift.

I purchased these a few months back. They were a game changer. I am military so I needed a shoe that would help me with PT. These did exactly that. Not only did I shaved time off of my run, but now I kinda look forward to the next run since I'm not in pain for a few days after I run. I have over 50 miles on them now and they still feel great. The material is very breathable, has a decently stylish look, and are super comfortable.

I have finally found the shoe I have always been looking for. All my running shoes are Brooks but never really found my go to shoe until now. Why? The heel to toe drop ratio, the weight of the shoe and the fit. Just ran the Chicago Marathon in this shoe and did not disappoint. I would like to see maybe a little more spring/bounce in the Revel 4. I'm 5'11 and weigh 167 pounds.

This is the Brooks shoe I have been waiting for. The 8mm drop is the perfect balance of a more natural running stride without being too taxing on the calves. The midsole is the perfect blend of being soft without being squishy. The upper fits like a glove as most Brooks shoes do, and the weight is light! This shoe is what I have been waiting for. The Ghost has too high of a drop for me and some of the other shoes from Brooks just feel a bit too heavy . I use this shoe on my daily runs of 3-5 miles and I have no doubt it could work for a 1/2 marathon or full marathon. I hope they continue this trend of lower drop, lighter weight cushioned running shoes. Well done Brooks!

Excellent fitting running shoe. It can use some more soul padding.

I think the show feels great and is great for my legs, but the durability of these shoes are not great. After having these shoes for about a month, the soles are starting to peel off and the soles are getting ground down (from sitting with the side of my foot on the ground.) overall a good shoe and I would recommend to anyone whether running to just a day to day shoe.

Definitely great cushioning when i began, but wore out noticeably starting around 275 miles. I wish they held up to use a little better, but to be fair i toon them on street and trail runs. They are light but still have a lot of cushioning, perfect for medium distance street runs.

Love the fit and comfort. Very comfortable walking shoe. Disappointed that the fabric on the inside of the heel is tearing. Have had many Brooks where this has not happened after much wear.

Good sneakers. My 15 year old just needed some "play sneakers", size was off for the first time we ordered them.He is a 9 but he needed a 9.5 but when we got them the second time within one week from each purchase the price had gone back up..:( oh well, now I see they are even cheaper then when we got them 2 weeks ago...:( oh well. So far he likes them, he has had better comfort in other "play sneakers" but these will do.

I wanted to love and give these five stars - they look good, are well made, and have a nice cushion while still feeling like the platform is going to last. They run a little small, but are not quite a half size small. I usually wear a 12 rarely a brand will come along that I prefer 11.5. I got these in a size 12 and I'm sticking with it. I deducted a star because I don't usually replace insoles, but I had to with these. I have moderate arches and these didn't have the support they advertised.

Great shoe, fit exactly as expected. Moderate amount of cushion and very comfortable. Got them as an all purpose athletic shoe (I'm not a runner) and they feel great but not much medial/lateral support. I understand that that's not what they were designed to do but overall a very good shoe. Recommended.

First time in a Revel. Have found it to not fit as snug as my previous shoe (Launch); I have to pull the laces well to ensure no extra movement when running. Cushioning is responsive. Comfortable for walking/standing if using more for work or everyday use.

Extremely comfortable to run in right out of the box. Only issue is they rubbed my heel when I wore no show socks on a 4 mile run.

Very light and comfortable with great shock absorption from arch through toe. However there is less support or and shock absorption on the heel than my other Brooks shoes.

I liked the look and feel of this running shoe. It has a good base, nice cushion, and is lightweight. Unfortunately, the top over my toes is too tight and it bothers my big toe. I think it's due to the mesh-style upper. Going to return these and look at another style.
