Gotta love the ugly Xmas design. Can’t wait til December

PROS: It's a Brooks shoe, so you know you're getting quality, functionality, durability and comfort. Brooks are my family's go-to for any type of running or athletic shoe, and we've never been disappointed in these areas. CONS: Glitter. So. Much. Glitter. I wish the photos had captured more of the "sparkling" effect these shoes have. The laces are bright glittering silver, as is a lot of the detail on the shoe's fabric. The logo is also quite glittery. The sole of the shoe - the thin gray-is colored strip, is actually a color-shifting, holographic glitter. It was a lot. And unfortunately, it wound up being just too much glitter for my teen son who just wanted a fun of ugly Christmas sweater running shoes.

Ordered and didn’t realize they only came in men’s sizes

Long time fan of Revel 2 and thought I'd try the new version. Extremely disappointed. Shoe felt and looked flimsy and cheap. Material on top and side of shoe was so thin I could see my socks underneath, and provided no arch support at all. Front of shoe was laughably wide. As a result, my foot moved around constantly while walking. Zero arch support, made worse by the thin material which gave no support either. Even laces looked downgraded and cheap compared to the Revel 2. Very glad that Zappos took them back. I ordered the Revel 2 and I hope it isn't discontinued any time soon, or I'll have to start from scratch finding a shoe that works for me and is not too heavy or stiff. I have to wonder what the folks at Brooks were thinking when they replaced a great shoe with something this flimsy. Extremely poor judgment.

The shoes feel very nice. They are light and they offer good support while jogging. I normally have to buy special insoles because my arches are so high, but so far I am 3 months into using these shoes daily and I have been able to just use the default insoles.

After wearing them twice, I think they’re pretty comfortable shoes. I returned my Brooks Ghost 12s purchased three months earlier for this pair because of a defect in the heel that gave me a nasty blister. Zappos is the best company! Not only did they take them back immediately, I got the new shoes the NEXT day (how do they do it?!) and a refund for the difference on my card! Why shop anywhere else for shoes? I would give this pair a try. Hopefully they hold up well.

Wish they came smaller. :(

Love them light, I have never worn runners that are all fabric upper but I guess they make them better now.
