Great fit. Narrow and arch support. I have a high arch and would like to see a little more support - but this works with out any inserts. The shoe is hot due to its Gore-Tex - but, that is a must for the shoe to keep your feet dry. I walk in these shoes on the treadmill and asphalt, and wear them on rubber flooring in step class - work great. They have kept my feet dry when outside in elements - I have not submerged my foot in a puddle.

I absolutely love these shoes. I've only ever run in the Launch model. After reading the reviews for this shoe, I ordered half a size up. The fit is absolutely perfect. A whole size up might be a little too big but could probably wear them. A little more snug than the Launches, but comfortable. The waterproof aspect is great. A little crinkly but it's a non-issue. I love these shoes and will always own a pair for my winter and rainy day running. They do make your feet quite toasty!! So no need to wear layers of socks.

I would live in these shoes every waking hour, if I could. They are waterproof, which is a high priority for me. I don't like changing shoes, if I don't have to. They are fine for walking the dogs, going to a fitness class, working in the yard, and for hanging out at home. I don't like to wear them to work, though sometimes I've forgotten and done it.

Okay people these are gortex meaning a much stiffer shoe. Obviously. That being said these are awesome! Keep you warm and completely dry! The stiffness saves your ankles in the snow. Highly recommend.

Got these for warmth as my feet are extremely sensitive to the cold. The waterproof cover under the mesh upper provides just that! Just as a heads up -- they are a bit narrow. I typically wear a women's size 8 street shoe. My past Ghost running shoes were 8.5. I had to get a 9 in this Ghost 12 GTX model. Just wish there were some more color options!

Bot them yesterday and ran in them today. I run almost exclusively on snowy, often unplowed dirt roads. After about 10 minutes my toes got a little chilly, but as my body warmed up, my toes did too. They were toasty the rest of my run. My only complaint is that they seemed a little narrow in the toe box. Although I don't usually wear a wide shoe, I recently bot the Brooks Adrenaline in a wide and the extra width is really nice. The narrowness of the Ghost won't negatively affect my runs, but it would be a tad more comfortable in a wide.

These are the first Gortex running shoes that I have owned. I have been really pleased with them so far.

I wear a 10 in most sneakers. I tried the other Brooks models on in stores and the 10s fit comfortably, even the Ghost 12. Do not hesitate to size up a half size in this particular model. I didn’t and will keep them but they are extremely snug. I won’t be able to add any sort of insole. I usually do that as sneakers wear a bit to provide support as sneakers age.

Love the shoes and would have given them a 5 star rating except for the width. I'm guessing due to the Gortex material, they run a little narrow for me. DRY SOCKS!!!!

My last pair of running sloes was the ghost 7. I run on the beach and the flared sole at the ball of the feet was good for not sinking into the sand. The beach i jog on is in Lincoln City, Oregon and it is fine sand that compacts well for jogging. The soles of my Old shoes held up but i ended up with wet feet plus the mesh top can snag creating holes. I bought the ghost 12 shoes for the gore tex tops and the fit. So far, my feet do stay dry. The shoes make my feet hot with the gore tex but i like dry feet. They still have the mesh top Layer which I don't like. The ghost 12 sole isn't quite as flared as my old shoes unfortunately. I am using the shoes but would like a better shoe for the beach.

I have always been a huge fan of the Ghost shoes! I was so excited to get this pair but when I put on the shoes the fit is much snugger than my Ghost 10s. I am a little disappointed by this but am hoping they will stretch out as time goes on. They are very comfortable to run on, but my toes feel cramped. 4/5

Ended up returning them. They didn't allow me to walk right, it cause my lower legs to hurt. Very weird. Otherwise seemed like good shoes. Maybe it was just me.

Haven't decided whether I'll keep them or return them yet. It is challenging to find a Gore-tex road running shoe. I will try them for another week & then make a final decision. They are a little narrower in the toe box than the regular Ghosts. Also and most annoyingly the left shoe makes a weird noise whenever I take a step. I am assuming this is due to something awry with the Gore-tex membrane in that specific shoe. The right shoe does not make the noise. If they were still in stock, I'd exchange for a different pair, alas they're sold out.

I think these shoes look great, but they're not very comfortable. I should have stayed with what works for me which is Adrenaline GTS 20.

Way too tight. Had the same size in other Brooks shoes, maybe just a mistake?

I always wear ghosts because I have a fusion in my neck with we've damage and they help me stabilize my posture. This pair is much stiffer than all the others.

I love my Ghost 12 sneakers and wanted to try the goretex Ghost 12 GTX so I ordered the same size. They are much tighter over the top of my foot and I will be returning them to try a wider width (if available) hoping this will solve the problem. Size 5M was good for me in the regular style but very uncomfortable in the GTX.

I had never had a Brooks Ghost waterproof shoe before. I have used previous Brooks Ghost Model and they all felt comfortable. When i initially put the shoe on it was comfortable; but by the end of the day the outsides of both my feet (the side of ball of the foot and the little toe version of the ball - sorry i don't know my names.) I tried to wear them a second day with no change in results and wound up returning them.

Tighter around the forefoot than regular Ghost and make a squeaky sound when in use. A bit disappointing since Ghost are usually perfect for me

Not near as comfortable as last ghost I bought. Very tight in area of laces no matter how much I loosen them
