Even in wide width, the shoes were not wide enough. All shoes seem to be made narrorer now.

I usually wear an 8.5N. I was excited to find this shoe in a Narrow width and ordered half size larger to account for swelling in the summer. The arch support is excellent and I have a very high arch. The padding at the back of the foot is very comfortable. HOWEVER, the width seems wider than some mediums. The toe area is so massive looking that I can’t get past it. Looks like duck feet that weight 20 lbs each. I compared these to my older Brooks and this version is notable wider in the toe box. I wish I could keep them but they’re too expensive to be only partly satisfied. So disappointed! ZAPPOS...we could use some selections of true narrow athletic shoes...please!

I have been getting Brooks GHost shoes since their ince ption. 1-2 pairs every 2 years. THis is the first style i have had pain in my ball of foot with walking. It seemed narrower than the old ones. I am bummed. THis is still a quality shoe, just not fitting me this time.

There is a metal type bar on each side of heel. After four hours my left ankle (more sensitive than right) gets very sore. Am returning. ?

Ordered yesterday and they arrived today which was great, however the loop to lace the shoes on the inside of the left shoe was torn as if someone had tried them on and returned them once they damaged the shoe. Sarcastic customer service, but I should expect no more from a company owned by Amazon- they seem to ruin everything. What a shame that I had to spend $120 on damaged goods. The shoes themselves would be great if I wasn’t charged full price, $120 for damaged shoes is ridiculous.

Very little support. Feet very sore after running.

I attempted to upgrade from Ghost 11 to 12 and these are completely different shoes running wise. Shoe housing seems smaller than the 10 and 11. These shoes fatigued my lower legs and feet running longer than 3 miles. Because I purchased 11 and 12, I (which I bought a new pair at the same time as these 12s) I ran the same mileage as I did 3 runs wearing the 12 and my 11s are way better for running longer distances. I cannot return worn shoes, these will become walking and shorter run/interval shoes. The color schemes for the ghost 12 were lacking as well. The shoes are to me very ugly on the road.

These are the best running shoes I think I've ever owned. I used to wear the Saucony Peregrine 4s, but they are long gone. Then I tried HOKA, but they were too bouncy and bothered my knees. These Ghosts are amazing. Now I know what everyone is talking about. LOL Pretty color, too. Very true to the pics. Fit is snug, but fine. I always order a 9.5 in running shoes, and that's seems to be fine for these Brooks too. Heel fits well, toe box is fine. Laces are very nice and normal (I hate those skinny ones with the clip!). All in all, these are a good shoe and a great value. I may get another pair before these 12s are gone. Thumbs up!

I was completely devoted to Saucony road and trail shoes for many years, but my favorite styles were slowly all discontinued. I tried HOKA and even their super squishy Bondi 6 (though gorgeous) made my knees hurt due to too much bounce back even just walking. I did a LOT of research and review reading all over, and time and time again, these Brooks Ghosts came up. I decided to take the plunge. Turns out, this was a great decision. The fit is snug, yet still roomy in the forefoot. I have bunions and that's always my main concern. No problem there with pressure on the bones in my feet. Also, the heel actually fits right and doesn't feel like it's slipping out as it has with other brands. The cushion is nice, but not excessive. I just started a new running (run/walk right now) program after years of just walking, and they felt great right out of the box. So....I figure that if my feet, knees, and hips feel good now considering how out of shape I am...when I get in better shape, these Ghosts will feel even better. And the color and look online is EXACTLY how they look in real life. Neat "texture" material that is different from your typical sneaker. Super pretty, super comfy. I may get another pair and/or get the Brooks Cascadias to go with these for my trail adventures. :)

These shoes are comfortable and fit my narrow heel and medium forefoot.

I am on my second pair of Ghost 12 sneakers. I love them. They fit my feet perfectly. I wear a size 9 1/2, I am 64 years old and walk 2 - 3 1/2 miles a day and I need the support that these give.

I wear size 8 wide width on most shoes and these Ghost Brook shoes size 8 D fit me well. My doctor recommended that I bought these shoes because of my plantar fascitis.

I purchased the Brooks Ghost 12. The fit is ideal for my narrow foot and is wider, more roomy through the toe. This is my 5th pair of Ghost shoes. I would recommend them over Hoka for comfort!

I agree with the reviews that say these Ghost 12's are similar to (or even better than) the Ghost 10's. The Ghost 11's did not fit me right- they made my ankles hurt-- not sure why. But these 12's are great for me. I have already bought 2 pairs and think I may buy a third, just in case they change them again! I think they run a bit big- I'd normally wear a 10.5 but the 11's fit me well.

I was reluctant to order Brooks online as have always worn Asics. Wanted to try them, though, as my son likes the brand and read the toe box was roomy. I absolutely love them. No break in was necessary. Cushioning was supportive. Bought them to walk in and do aerobics & weights at the gym. I did order a half size larger than the size I order in Asics and ordered a wide width, as that is what I normally order. I bought the Ghost 12’s since former model was on sale and they are great. I am now a fan of Brooks.

Needed a support shoe after having foot surgery. This shoe has kept me going all day! Ran my first mile in six months and this shoe offered great stability and cushioning throughout!

These sneakers feel great. They are true to size and width, very comfortable and supportive, and I like how they look. They are my new favorite running shoes. However, after only 4 weeks of wearing them, there are tears in the collar. I don’t think this should happen. What will they look like in another month?! I have have 2 pairs in 2 different colors.

Took these on a five mile walk yesterday. I live on a steep hill and these felt lightweight but gripped the road well. No foot pain. Plenty of cushioning and toe box room. Always order half a size larger in sneakers and boots. Definitely would get another pair of the Ghost 12. Also the Kentucky blue is a nice color.

I recently switched to the Brooks Ghost from the Adrenaline due to ankle pain the new roll bar in the Adrenaline caused. I have been running for 9 years in a stability shoe, and the Neutral Ghost provides plenty of support - without the ankle pain! I usually have 2 pair - one for running and one for work. I need a new running shoe unfortunately, this shoe seemed to run a 1/2 size too small. When I returned, the size I needed was sold out. Loved this color combo, so still looking. I run and average of 15-20 miles a week.

These shoes are perfect! I have a lot of foot issues (bunions, arthritis, and more), and I can walk painlessly as much as I want. Will be ordering more to keep for the future!

The color is definitely very grey. Not a white sneaker!!

Love these shoes! Super cushioned and comfy. I have pretty wide feet and this toe box is very accommodating to that. These will be my next running shoes for sure.

I bought a half-size up as Zappos recommended. These are so comfy, easy to lace up tight, and I love the sturdy loop at the back for pulling them on. I have had walking shoes that are worn out, and I wanted something I could also run in. I think this is my first pair of Brooks sneakers -- glad I found them.

Loved the look of these shoes~ so very cute! However, they did not fare well for my use of them which is standing in surgery for 5-6 hours at a time. they seem to be of great quality. I will likely purchase them when I'm shopping for a new running shoes.
