Fit and size were spot on. The cushioning is wonderful and love love the design. I can't speak to the insole as I use my own, but the important part for fit for me is the toe box. This toe box is so comfortable and roomy without being oversized. I use for gym, working out and walking and I highly recommend.

Ghost 12 are perfect for me. Finally, I have lost count of how many shoes I've ordered and returned! Thank goodness for Zappos, easy order return policy! I have wide feet and a high instep. A work mate said try Brooks......i did, several....these were the ones that worked. I'm on my feet all day, cement floors.........ugh. I put these shoes on and from day one comfort! Not only did my feet feel good but my legs and back weren't tired. They are pricey but so good for me I quickly ordered a second pair! Hope they last.

Best sneakers I ever had

Super comfortable shoes for nursing! Shoes arrived with 2 different sizes in the box, I called Zappos and they fixed everything very quickly. The customer service was awesome and I love my shoes!

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. It's my third pair of Brooks Ghost. Great fit, like a glove.

I love the Ghost 12 style. This is the second pair I have ordered in two months because I wanted an additional color. I am being treated for plantar fasciitis in one foot and tendonitis in the other. This Brooks shoe style really helps ease the pain. Although I have never worn a wide width in a shoe, I find that the wide is more comfortable for me in this brand.

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost, in the various new editions, for years. They provide a neutral cushioned fit for running or walking. I agree with the other reviews that this Ghost 12 edition is similar to the Ghost 10 that I loved, so I bought two pairs.

I love the Brooks Ghost 12 shoe! It has to be the best athletic shoe I've ever owned - lightweight, comfortable and supportive. Lots of cushioning around the ankle and in the heel. I ordered the black and white and love the style. I'd also like to thank Zappo's for their patience with returns while I searched for the perfect shoe.

I’ve had Brooks before and definitely wanted to get some again. They are ultra-comfortable and cool looking! I have a fairly narrow foot and heal, but the mediums fit great. There is plenty of toe room, too, something that yoga has taught me to appreciate. I’m really not a runner and swimmers don’t have much use for Brooks in the pool, but these could inspire a change! ;)

These shoes are very stable. I normally wear an 11 which was too short , the 11.5 did not feel any different than the 11, but the 12 fit great. I liked the light weight and wide toe box. In the end I went with the Brooks Ghost 12 with the slightly higher ankle than the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 as it was more comfortable for me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! I paid more than I usually do for running shoes because I've always had the mantra "function over fashion" but these were just too cute to pass up. I affectionately call them my "cupcake shoes" and they truly make running my long runs more fun. Livelong Brooks customer!

My coworker also suffers from plantar fasciitis and recommended these. She said her feet felt much better with these shoes. So I tried them! Ghost 12 did not need my custom orthotic inserts, because their arch support felt the same. It took a lot of searching, but this shoe came in 10N. I wear 10N or 10slim so I'm happy happy!

These are great looking shoes! If I could get a half size large and slightly wider in the toe box I would buy several pairs.

This is my first pair of Brooks. I am an RN and I usually wear NB. These are much more comfortable and provide great all over support.

There is nothing like a new pair of Brooks.. The only brand I wear. This is my first pair of Ghost and they are the best I have so far.

Love these Brooks shoes. They are my second pair. Need a half size larger than I usually wear.

This shoe fit me very well in length and width. It has superb cushioning, so much so, that I have not had to insert my orthotics. I’ve worn orthotics in every shoe I own for over 16 years! I am delighted with this purchase.

I ordered a size larger (per usual on running shoes) and it was perfect. It gave me about a thumb’s width at the end of the toe box. If you buy your actual size, it might be too tight for running. I have been running in Brooks for a few years now and have bounced around between several models. My previous shoes (Levitate 2) had a lot more cushion/bounce, so it was an adjustment to sensing more of the impact, but my feet felt lighter. I like the style of these a lot. I also like the lightweight aspect of them and the lacing/support is better than Levitate 2. I did experience some initial muscle soreness in my legs as I adjusted to the difference in slant/gradient. You probably would not like these if you are concerned about joint pain, but it you are working on speed and picking up your feet more (butt kicks), these are great!

I love Brooks running shoes. My last pair was a Dyad 7 which was discontinued. Reviews I read, said that the new Dyads don't compare to my old ones so I decided to try other styles. I ordered The Brooks Ravenna 10 and the Ghost 12. They are both really comfortable and I had a very hard time deciding. The Ravenna 10 are lightweight and have plenty of cushion. I ended up keeping the Ghost 12 as they seem to be more supportive for my ankle. Having had ankle surgery in the past, I need support in that area. If I could afford it, I would have kept both pairs!

Finally a pair of running shoes for my narrow feet that are soooo comfortable! There is adequate arch support and they feel nice and cushioned especially on the ball of my foot where I usually feel the most impact. And I love the blue color! I LOVE my new Brooks Ghost 12 running shoes!

The Ghost 12 is a vast improvement over the Ghost 11. However, they seem a bit narrower. I went up a half size to compensate because not all colors come in wide. These are PINK! I love these paint splatter colors!
