High-rise may be in fashion, but I like being able to sit down. I have been wearing this style of bootcut Levi's for at least ten years. Skinny legs come and go, but I can always rely on this jean to get me through the day without fail. I can drive in them without discomfort, lean forward at my desk and eat things without feeling like I am going to be sawed in half. For reference, W28, H38, 120 lbs and I wear a 6short in black, 4short in dark rinse. Please don't ever stop making these jeans. They don't smell, they don't stick to you, but they move with you.

I am 5'3", 120 lbs. Waist is 28, Hips 37. These fit me like a glove in size 4 Short. The inseam is the perfect length. They stretch out just enough to be comfortable and not have those awful "ripples" on the back of the thighs and knees. Fabric is soft and NO FORMALDEHYDE smell! Finally! It is so hard to find dark wash jeans that do not stink to high heaven these days. True mid-rise and doesn't feel like it is cutting me in half when I bend over. Will buy more pairs of this style. Ordered 8"M" size, and received waist 29in, insteam 32in... not consistent with description stating "M" is 30in. seem to be cut a bit too generously for slim hipped person. may be better fit with for those who need a lot of room around the thighs.

I ordered these jeans because the description stated that they were "79% cotton, 19% polyester, 2% elastane." They are not!! They are 60% cotton, 16% polyester, 23% viscose, 1% etlastane. I hate stretchy jeans! I was so excited that Zappos carried 79% cotton Levi's. I am so disappointed that it is simply not true.

My new favorite jeans! They feel really soft and have a quite forgiving stretch. The long length really is a long length - definitely a 34" and maybe a tad inseam, which I really appreciate. With the higher rise, they do seem to be a little mommy-jeanish, so if you're expecting to be up in da club, these might not fit the bill. But if you want the fact that you're wearing jeans to be obvious (vs. sham jeans that are masquerading as slacks), these are a great classic style.

Before I had kids, my favorite jeans were a pair of low-rise, long-length bootcut juniors Levis. (I can’t remember the style number.) Alas, they’re no longer very comfortable or flattering. I’ve been searching for a replacement for a few years and I finally found it! They fit just like I want them to and I don’t even need a belt. I do wish the long-length was a half inch shorter in the leg. They’re fine with shoes, but I have to cuff them to be comfortable walking around in sock feet. (Not a big deal since I only wear them when I leave the house.) I tried the medium length, but it was just too short when sitting. Unfortunately, the Island Rinse was too dark and stiff for me and Zappos didn’t have the rinse I wanted, but my mom found a size that fit her perfectly as well, so I exchanged them for a pair for her.

Island Rinse color is nice, dark and rich. The medium length was a good one for me and what I usually wear. But the waist was a little low for a mid rise and too big. I bought the same Jean in a different color and the long length, and it fit fine in the waist. A little inconsistent.

These fit perfectly!! I am not a skinny, straight hip woman. I have curves on the sides, and back and FRONT. But I hate jeans and slacks that seem to exaggerate that Front curve. These are awesome! Really soft, super comfortable with a little stretch and they "flatten" the front. These are made for real women and are perfect right out of the package. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with these! So comfy and keep their shape through multiple wears. No post-dryer break-in needed either. Nice to go back to a pair of boot cut after years of skinny jeans. Very pleased!

I've never owned a pair of Levis jeans before, because I never liked the way they fit on me, but these weren't too bad. However they aren't made for women with bigger stomachs, it'll give you that tire affect lol. I measured the inseam it's about 33.25 inches

I use these for work outdoors. They have held up well and are comfortable. However they stretched out after one wear and need a belt.

The Monterey Drive color is too faded for my taste. This is a mid to high rise cut and was comfortable in the waist. But the Long was too long for me. Interestingly I did order the same size in the Medium length and that pair was baggy in the waist.

Perfect for me! I’m 5’5” 120 lbs, 26/2 perfect length. Will definitely buy another pair in a different shade of blue, and probably a pair in black as well. I love that these are NOT high-waisted, which are very uncomfortable for me. Too close to my rib cage for comfort.

No useable front pockets is a definite minus. A 30” inseam on a short jean is ridiculous, I am 5’ tall, think about it. The good; these pants are comfortable, well fitting and reasonably priced. Other than the above issues these pants are “the bomb”!

The fit is good, although I could probably have worn my normal 12 (31 waist) in these because they’re a mid-rise. But the forgiving fit of the 14 (32) is fine, too, especially with a bit of stretch that keeps them in shape.

I really liked these jeans but the mid-rise was just not quite high enough for my body type. I'm in my mid 30's and have had two kids, so I like a slightly higher rise. If you like a true mid-rise then you'll probably love these. When I was in my teens/early 20's these would have been perfect.

These fit all wrong at the waist and were shorter than described. The color was great.

These jeans??? have more viscose and polyester than I wanted. I wanted denim jeans - 99 to 100 % cotton. I didn't that stretchy look for jeans before & I still don't. Guess I was thrown off by the word classic in the description; not classic at all.

These fit well and I would have happily kept them but THAT SMELL.... I had seen other reviews about it but also saw some that said the smell was gone. It was horrific. If you like a very strong, toxic chemical smell in your clothes (and what does that do to your skin?), then these won't bother you. It was only obvious after washing and drying them, but not before that. Levis have been a love for decades but something has gone terribly wrong here. Needless to say they are going back.
