I've used Mizuno baseball spikes for years and decided to try these running shoes out based on the high reviews. They provide good comfort and support for running on pavement. I know that I wear 11.5 in Mizuno's but these were just barely bigger than I was expecting. Running shoes should not be too tight so these were just right for me. Disclaimer - I've only had these for about a week so time will tell how well they hold up but overall very impressed so far.

I love the look and fit of the knit shoes. As for the shoe, it runs great.

I run 3-4 times a week in these and they are more and more comfortable every time I put them on! They have the right amount of cushion from mile 1 to mile 6. Great fit as well. Highly recommend!

Have worn Brooks Glycerin for several years, great shoes but wear out too fast, so thought I'd try something similar that would wear better. Very impressed so far, fantastic fit and cushioning, responsive yet sturdy. Not quite the 'Cadillac' fit of the Glycerin, played with the laces a bit to get a dialed in fit.

Great running shoe! Suitable for half marathon or marathon. Very comfortable and cushion performance is great even after many miles. 100% recommended for runners that like to go the distance and stay comfortable.

As a senior runner, cushioning is more important especially in the forefoot. The Waveknit 3 is much better at cushioning than the Wave Horizons I have been using. I'm a dedicated Mizuno user so can't compare with other brands.

Awesome and comfortable fit. New Wave and foam technology gives a soft ride for long runs.

Probably my 4th pair of wave from Mizuno. First Waveknit. More comfortable and perhaps cooler. Had to go up a half size for same fit. Very comfortable.

Clean and simple design. The shoe is made very well, from the quality of the knit upper, the silky finish on the tongue and around the ankle, to the curvy waves of the sole. Every detail has been addressed. A highly cushioned shoe, the midsole uses a combination of two different foams and provides a very comfortable ride and foot strike. That combined with a sturdy rubber outsole, the Mizuno Waveknit provides ample grip and traction. The upper is constructed of a mesh knit, which is conducive to more breathable feet and more comfortable feel in general. They felt great right out of the box. A tad heavier than most of the shoes I own, these are my go-to shoes for recovery, long or easy runs when I just want my feet to feel great and relaxed. Mizuno has really paid attention to detail from design to construction and has created a solid running shoe in their lineup.

Having run for over 40 years, I've never been overly fussy about shoes until things started hurting. This shoe has been great for my 3 runs in it so far. I especially like the fit in the toe area; it seems like the lace configuration and material shape themselves to fit the front of my foot better than any shoe I recall.

I've been wearing my new Waveknits for a couple of weeks now, and I'm loving them. I was advised to order half a size larger, which I did. Fit is great at that larger size. I have very narrow feet, and these shoes are able to accommodate that as well as any I've worn. Comfortable standing at work or doing whatever I need to do in my off time, these are the shoes for me, and they're probably the shoes for you, too.

Great running shoes. Straight out of the box they were extremely comfortable and felt like they were already broken in. They are super lightweight and the soles are very cushiony.

This shoe is near perfect - fit is wonderful, it is incredibly comfortable, I only gave it 4 stars because the sole on the back of both shoes is already starting to fall off and I haven't worn them much so durability seems to be an issue. Otherwise this shoe is great.

I'm a big fan of the Wavesky. I purchased the original Wavesky and the new version seems to have shrunk one size as a 13 no longer fits me. Once I got the right fit, it's perfect. Great build quality. Runs a little hot for me, if it were a little bit more breathable, that would be my only recommendation for improvement. I wish Mizuno would offer free return or flat rate return shipping since it cost me $19 to return my 13 shoe.

I have owned several generations of these shoes and really like the cushion. They have been a great training shoe for me. This latest SW3 tread change, however is much more slippery than the previous versions. I have slipped a few times and fell once when turning a sharp corner.

Walk 40 miles a week. Really like the shoes, however, I am noticing a little slippage on damp surfaces, when walking.

Have run in the Wave Sky for many years but the shoe became too "hard" for me as my body aged and I switched to a Sacony shoe. When Mizuno introduced the Sky WAVEKNIT, and spoke of its redesign and soft road feel, I purchased a pair. This is a FANTASTICALLY comfortable shoe and extremely well built. The new design really softens the road feel of the shoe. However, because the drop on this show is a 10, it becomes a heavy during long runs. I will be using this shoe on any of my runs that are less than 8 miles, however, for any run longer, I need to stick with my Sacony Triumph with a drop 9 (yes, you can tell the difference with a 1MM drop). If Mizuno made this shoe with a lower drop, the Waveknit would most certainly be my goto show for long runs.

I run 5+ miles a day 5-6 times a week and this is a very comfortable shoe. The only drawback is the weight.

Nice soft comfortable running shoe. Very nice weight as well. The only reason not giving 5 stars is because they retain a lot of heat.

I am 75 years old and run a 5 K every day. So far it is a good solid, comfortable running shoe but I will see how things go after I have put 5 - 600 miles on them. I would like just a little more cushion and a little less weight but that combination is not easy to achieve. So far I am satisfied--no pain or discomfort in my joints or tendons.

The comfort and feel of the shoe are great, similar to something from Asics, my only complaint with the shoe is that when you first get it, you have to break in the outsole it seems to squeak allot like a basketball shoe, but after say 1-2 miles it's no longer an issue. Maybe I'll retouch the review after prolonged use but the wave knit upper is why I got this version as opposed to the other Variants of the WS 3. It's also an interesting colorway I would love to see flashier variants in the future like mint greens sky blue, red/white, red/white/blue, just go wild with the selections, but really happy with this as a first try at Mizuno in like a decade.
