These shorts are lightweight and comfortable, but unfortunately the size small was baggy (i'm 5'5" about 135 lbs.) and not snug around the waist. Still, they are nice to knock around in on a hot day. I wish I sized down to an x small, albeit I am typically a 4/5 so couldn't imagine a smaller size would fit.

These are so light, cool, and comfortable!!! I bought every color! Wish they came in white!

Buy these tight as they loosen and become super comfy! Love them!

True to size, super comfortable, wash and wear, and the perfect length! Not so long they are down to your knees and not so short they are exposing flabby thighs. More colors are available, though I only see the 'core' colors here on Zappos. Appreciate having pockets I will always own at least one pair of these shorts from this point forward! (I am currently between a US 12 and 14 in pants, and the XL is comfortable and roomy, the L is more fitted but absolutely wearable)

I stumbled across these, the best shorts on the planet, accidentally. #1 surprise? Shorts always ride up on me. These don't. What? Why? I didn't know that was possible. Will this continue? Can I now just wear shorts and walk around whenever I want? huh. The material is comfortable. The waist band is very soft. The folded cuff is stitched in place at the front and sides. Great! I can't see the description here to see if these shorts have a 6 or 7 inch inseam, but the length is perfect if you don't want shorts too short, but also don't want them down around your kneecaps. Sizes between brands vary so much, but I am a size 14 in pants generally. I purchased these in an XL and a L. The XL is a better fit for me, but with the stretchy waist I can easily wear the L too, just the legs are more fitted and I prefer looser. The pockets 1) exist and 2) are a useful size and 3) don't add a bunch of bulk Also once you fall in love with these shorts like I have, you'll want to know that they come in a huge variety of colors.

I had a previous pair of these shorts and ordered another in a different color. They are very comfortable and look great.

After reading reviews I ordered these in a Large. The fit is perfect and super cute. So nicely made that I jumped back on line and order 4 more pair. You know how it is ladies. Once you find something that fits grab them again in every color. These will be great for any activity along with dressing them up with a nice top. Love the waist band on these super comfortable.

I'm older, 5'0" and 107 lbs and more athletic and the size XS (2) fit me snugly but not too tight around the hips, and comfortably loose around the waist. They loosen up a bit as they are worn. These shorts are pretty perfect for me. I LOVE the leg pockets for my phone, lip balm, etc. for working outside. The leg length is perfect on me. I would love to find this same cut and style in a tougher fabric. as well. These are light weight cotton - perfect for wearing in the summer but I probably will try to keep from getting down and dirty in them in the garden, getting snagged with thorns, etc. They look fantastic, very flattering fit. The waist is pretty loose so it can ride on my hips or I can pull them up higher. In other words, they aren't tight in the waist so they don't create a muffin top and they're super comfortable. Mostly, the leg opening is not too wide so they are slimming. The tan color is perfect as it blends in with my legs more than say black shorts would. I bought two of these shorts in case I never see them again sigh.

The material is beutiful, the size fits well but the cut ( pattern) isn't the best around the butt, looks like wearing diapers under due to so many wrinkles.
