It’s a backpack, good quality, we got him one last year too. BUT ITS NOT RED - What arrived is a dark maroon color... hate it but he’s desperate for a new backpack since the ne I originally got him at beginning of school year is too small. THIS IS NOT RED, the image is lighter than actual color

Backpack is excellent size, fabric is sturdy, and it fits beautifully. All zippers work great except the front one with the padded place for sunglasses. It is really hard to zip. I put zipper lube on it but didn't help. Overall I am pleased with the backpack.

Used for work to carry laptop. If intended for electronics and protective, make waterproof!
