These shoes support my feet and keep them from pronating. I walk and jog about 70 miles a week and these have been the best. These shoes also out last any other sneaker I have ever worn.

The rollarbar is essential for my orthotics to be effective. I've had multiple pair of shoes with the rollarbar and they are fantastice. During the pandemic, my size became unavailable and I tried other shoes from New Balance, but without the rollarbar, my feet ached if I wore them too long. Having worn New Balance exclusively since the 1980's I have a long list of models I liked and those which were not right for me. I'm so happy to have my new 1540v3 shoes again!

I have been wearing this model shoe for years. They are fantastic for support. My pediatrist even commented on what a great shoe this is.

Love these shoes. Was soooo happy that Zappos had them in stock because I couldn't find them in my city.

This is one of the few shoes that truly offers good support. Keep my plantar fascitis problem in check extremely well. Fit is good and it laces very securely and easily.

Great option for me for tennis. Wide and stable, great forefoot support, and excellent heel support.

This is my third pair. Helps relieve my sore feet and "cures" them for a while. A great help.

This sneaker actually fits my husband. It's a true 6e. His foot is actually a little wider than 6e and he finds these comfortable!

I needed to find a shoe to accommodate a very large bunion on my right foot. These are the best!! so much support for walking. I'm an older female , usually wear size women's 9 with thin socks. I thought I would try a man's 8 in width2E, they were almost perfect for wearing thicker socks for winter. Next time I will go down a size, but for now.,,,I can walk and shop for hours,,,and no pain . no leg or back pain either. The toe box is roomie and support my heel and ball, without my foot rolling as it did in previous shoes.

Two different styles and colors below both men's 9W. The one in the left 607 v5 is very attractive, the one in the right (1540 v3) is more athletic. But the 1540 has the rollbar which is critical for my feet and the shoe feels much more comfortable. The 608 v5 is pretty and supportive but does not compare in comfort (and it is a chunkier shoe per the picture). I don't like the look of a fat foot and though the price is double for the 1540 v3, it is more comfortable and attractive. Cost equals comfort.

I need Size 10 and a 6E Width. I buy a new pair every year. They are top of the line and nearly the most expensive and worth it. Thank you from me and all the other 6E people.

I wear the 1540 v3 shoe everyday. I like the stiffer sole. At 10 1/2 4E, I find the shoe very comfortable. It took a day or two to get used to the roll bar, but now it's nothing but comfortable walking.

I use these shoes for doing errands. They are very comfortable. The shoe fits my 8 1/2, 4E foot very well in width and length. They look great on my foot and I have received compliments on them.

My fault - I thought that 2ee stood for double wide. Need 4ee.

We purchased these shoes and walked all over the British Isles with them and my feet were in good shape with many 12 hour days over a 12 day period.

I have type II diabetes and am having foot problems. I have previously purchased this show in width 4E and it is very comfortable. I turned that pair into an everyday (work outside doing yard work, etc.) shoes and wanted a pair for casual wear. I didn't even shop around, but immediately purchased this same shoe in a different color. I plan to purchase it in the same color that I had previously purchased soon.

This is my first pair in a long time-- So far, the 1540v3 lives up to its reputation as being *the* orthopedic running shoe. A little background-- I'm currently recovering from a bunion-- sustained in part due to overuse-- so I was recently prescribed a custom orthotic, which is now in my new pair of 1540s. Worth a note that my podiatrist recommended the 1540 by name. These are my only functioning pair of shoes right now, so it means a lot to me that these shoes are an asset toward my comfort and continued recovery.

Not only was the shipping time out of this world but the shoe fits and wears great. I ordered this style after doing research for bunion friendly shoes and so far, this shoe seems to be doing the trick.
