My kids have worn Asics for years and this specific pair/style FIT well and was comfortable. The problem and reason we returned was that the strap for velcro seemed short - it only attached across the foot about 1/4 of the way on the velcro side. Hope that makes sense. Because it was short, the shoe did not want to stay on. My son has a medium width foot...if not even a bit on the narrow side. Returned for Saucony which did not have that problem. Not as many choices at the time of my purchase for boys size 1.5 Asics in Hook and Loop closure.

My son has narrow feet and these offer good support so his feet don’t slip in and out. I like the treads so he doesn’t slip on the ice.

Felt just slightly tighter in width, but maybe it's bc the sneaker has a decent amount of cushioning. Sneaker is very well made, especially the rubber sole. It's literally an adult sneaker in kids size. They could be a little lighter, but I would highly recommend them based on fit, finish, and durability.

I can't tell you how these feel since they were bought for a 5 yr. old but I like the look of them. I probably should have bought him the wide width since he is in between medium and wide and these seemed a little narrow. Also the tongue of the shoe came stitched on one side which was annoying so I took a seem ripper and unstitched them so make them normal. Overall I would buy again because I like the style but I would probably get a wider width if offered.

Very surprised that my son who has a long and narrow foot did not fit into these. We went up a half size and could have easily gone up a whole size. We couldn't even get the velcro fastened on the top. And remind you, he has a narrow foot.

These are good looking shoes, but definitely go up a size!

asics are always a good shoe for comfort and lasting quality.

This shoes are to narrow, because even after I sized up 1 size for my 3 year old, the length of the shoe was fine but the velcro straps barely reaches...

LOVE these shoes! One of the best features, in my opinion, is that one side of the shoe tongue is attached. This prevents the tongue from slipping down into the shoe. My son is 5 years old with autism. He can put on these shoes properly with no problem and with zero help. I ordered the fist pair 6 months ago, and just ordered the next size up. My son is VERY active, running 1-3 miles every day. These shoes held up well just in time for the next size to be ordered.

My 3 year old loves these! He said they are very comfortable and he clearly loves the style. I will purchase again if they hold up well.

Definitely order a full size up.

These were great -- I ordered them for my son, after another pair never arrived (was shipped via amazon). These are exactly as I expected for my 10 year old son. He is content with them.

My son loves these shoes! They cushion his feet well, the fabric is a good color to hide stains, they're easy to put on, and they look nice to boot. The construction is quite light which would normally concern me in regards to quality and longevity, but the price is right and I think they will last just fine until he outgrows them.

Just got these for my son. He seems happy with them. Have had ASICS for him in the past that have held up well so hoping these do too.
