Picky tween daughter loves these -- color, style, and most importantly, support. This is her second pair of ASICS after years of New Balance (not enough support), and they're great.

My daughter pronates and these sneaker fit perfectly and give her all the support she needs. They are also adorable! We got the blue mesh with the pink sole. Love!

This shoe offers more support than any New Balance kids shoe. May run a tad narrow. The laces don't offer enough length to double tie when in the last eyelet, however so far the laces seem to hold well when not double tied. Wish the soles were navy instead of coral. Our daughter has sensory issues and can tell/feel the variations between each shoe (even within the same style and size of shoe), thus we've gone through a lot of styles of shoes and sizes. Our daughter's feet would eventually hurt when wearing her New Balance shoes, however she hasn't complained once while wearing the Asics Gel-Excite 6 shoe. Thank you Zappos for your user friendly return policy...we're ordering more of the same size so our daughter can pick out a 2nd pair as a back up.

My daughter has a narrow foot and she loves them! However, they do not have the same arch support as the Asics GT-1000, which we always bought in the past. We took out the insole from her other shoes and that made them fit perfectly. The shoe is well made and we love that the reinforcement in the toe area is sewn vs. glued as she has experienced with some of the Asics GT-1000's in the past.

My middle school daughter is a runner but pronates and needs good arch support. These shoes deliver. She was impressed with the comfort and support and likes how they look. Happy camper

I agree with the comments the reviewer from 7/28/19 made. Our daughter too has worn New Balance for 6 or 7 years, however this years versions have zero support and cheaper quality. The Asics Gel-Excite 6 has been the only shoe she's liked the fit of. One thing I didn't like was that the quality of construction could be better, because it took a few pairs to find a pair that the mesh and toe tip wasn't crooked and off centered.
