My 8 year old son chose these shoes based on looks. He said they were comfortable, right out of the box. He usually wears a size 3. We ordered a 3 1/2 which gives room and the toe for a little growth.

First time trying Asics for my son. He's in a size 2W. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. He likes that the laces stayed tied. We had trouble with New Balance always coming untied. His teacher even complained about it after she tried tying them! I'm glad Asics makes a wide sneaker for boys. We got the black and orange ones and my 8 year old couldn't be happier! My order arrived fast as always! Thanks Zappos!

My son loves these new sneakers. He has started to run daily, and needed a real running shoe. These are big improvement over his old ratty playground shoes. He even likes to wear them when he's not running. The price is very reasonable for the quality shoe.

These are great! My son's foot just keeps growing but I always know I can rely on ASICS to be a good fit for him and these are no exception. He loves the color combination and they fit perfectly!

My son seems to really like these shoes and they fit him well. He's got no complaints at all.

My son loves asics and is even happier now that the size 3 comes with a lace rather than a velcro— he can make them tighter/ adjust to his liking better with laces! Happy kid happy feet!

I ordered these shoes as running shoes in size 5.5 for my 11 year old son, but they ended up a little small for him, my bad. However, I would say that these shoes did not appear to be too flexible in the sole and comfortable in the width area, which is not what I expected from Asics shoes. My son has pretty narrow feet, but he complained there is not quite enough room for his feet in the width. I ended up returning them for Nike shoes at Zappos, which worked out great. I would say, if your kid doesn't not use them for running, they will probably work out just fine. High five to Zappos for their amazing service!

My 7 year old loves these! The laces are long though so for kids that just learned to tie shoes it can be a hassle to keep tying them

Shoes looks great at my 7 year old. He says in very comfortable and most important is holding up pretty well on a 2o. grade Challenge.

ASICS is a great brand. This was all around a great pair - comfortable, long enough laces for kids to tie and stylish.

My son loved these. He was growing out of a size 3, so we got the 4’s, but they already felt to him like they’d be too small in a matter of months so we got the 5’s and he had what we felt was adequate room without being too big to start with.

I bought these for my son to wear when running cross-country. They are comfortable and supportive. Very happy with the price.

My son loves these shoes and thinks they make him faster. We purchased a size 3 to replace a worn pair of Adidas, so they may run smaller than some brands.
