As with most Nikes, these run 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. They are not as narrow as other Nikes I own, with a good amount of room in the toe box, but not too much that you slosh around. The insole is a rubbery type material, not a fabric lined one as you'd be used to. At first it felt hard and weird and I wasn't sure I'd like these. BUT, after a two hour tennis clinic, they broke in nicely and what was a hard feeling insole, now felt more springy and responsive. They also do get easier to slip on your feet with repeated uses. Also, I think the rubbery texture of the insole keeps your foot locked in place, there's no slipping or toe jams, even with sudden stops and starts. Overall, I find these to be extremely lightweight, responsive, springy with good lateral support and a good aesthetic.

I had high hopes for theses shoes. I loved the leopard! Unfortunately, they look and feel very cheap. It felt like I was walking on bricks. I will be sending these back.

Don't know if these are supposed to be worn with your own insert or what, but there was no cushioning whatsoever in the shoe. Hard as a rock.

I wear a 7.5 or 8 and couldn't even fit my foot in the 8.

I have a pair of Flare 2 HC in 9.5 and I am a size 9. I wanted to try a 10 in the Flare 2 HC strictly for the length but like most brands they think if you have a long foot it must really wide also! Other than the shoe in the size 10 being too wide, the Flare 2 HC is a great tennis shoe and super cute! I want a light colored tennis shoe and I will probably end up ordering in size 9.5.

Very tight fit with uncomfortable width . Typically a size 9 and I could barely get my foot in , toes cramped and width tight

Great for a teenage girl for tennis. Ordered 1/2 size up for comfort with running on the court- which was perfect. Usually size 8 M- ordered 8.5 M. Fun colors compared to the usual tennis court shoes.

I have wide feet and am used to unstructured running shoes, but these are very comfortable and accommodate my feet well. The cushioning in the heel is very comfortable. I’ve played in them once, but so far so good.

Nice Flare 2Hc is fantastic. Super stylish - not your grandma/traditional tennis shoe. I wear an 8 in running shoes and a 7.5 in street shoes. I ordered these in an 8.5 based on the reviews and the fit is perfect!! These are awesome for tennis, provide great stability, and also came with a very cushioned, thick padded insert! I’ve never seen anything so dreamy inside a tennis shoe. I put my custom orthotics in, but will repurpose those dreamy inserts in another shoe. These are stylish girls, which is unusual for shoes intended for playing the game of tennis. Don’t look cheap to me. I’d even wear as street shoes if I wasn’t so into tennis. Bravo Zappos.

These shoes fit me better then any other shoe I have ordered online—like a glove. I am an 8.5 and lean toward having a bit more wider feet. Super comfortable and bouncy. I love the style as well. I plan on buying another pair.

Love this sneaker but had to get next size

The height of the sides were too high for feet - they hurt my ankles. They weren't comfortable and after awhile my heel was sore.

Great looking athletic shoe, but best left for the tennis court. Good snug heel support, but felt very narrow through the arch and toe areas

I liked the style of the shoe, but it is very hard to get your foot into it- I practically had to unlace the shoe. Once I got my foot into the shoe, it fit well, but was really uncomfortable as the top portion of the shoe came right at the knuckle of my ankle and rubbed up against it constantly.

Way too wide for my feet I returned them.

Horribly small toe box. Stiff and inflexible. No arch support. Very disappointing.

Like most Nikes on my feet, the arches were too high. Which is strange because I was told I have high arches. But aside from that, these rubbed my ankle bone because they are almost like high tops...the top of the shoe grazed my ankle bone. And they had no support. Not good shoes.

These sneakers are super cute but the fit is not good. The sides come up too high and rub your ankles. Blisters formed on my heals and ankles and the shoe is stiff and heavy. Zappos CS is amazing, accepted these as a return!

Fit is terrible. Sides were high and kept hitting my ankle bones and gave me cuts in all four sides of my foot.
