Perfect shoe for active boy. Very sturdy but not stiff-- comfortable right out of the box. The vecro straps and great and seem like they will last for the life of the shoe.

I bought these shoes for my son with needs. Needed something an insert (orthotic) would fit into and would be durable. Upon receipt they were great. Inserts went right it, shoes fit well. Concern is with quality. The stitching on the velcro straps is already unraveling and the part of the rubber sole that comes up over the front of the toe is already (after less than 2 weeks of wear) coming unglued. I was really hoping these would be long lasting and durable shoes...

These looked like great shoes for my son with special needs. On the plus side, the velcro straps are handy for easy on easy off. The style is great. The insoles are removable so we could put in his custom orthodics. On the not so great side, they haven't worn well. I will admit my son is hard on shoes, but the part of the sole that comes up over the toe has come completely unglued and there is significant wear (to the point the color is gone) on the sides of the toe bed. Not sure if it is my son or the shoe, but sad that after just a month, we have to get a new pair of shoes for him.
