The only problem I had with them was in the beginning they would cut into my ankles, took a few weeks to break them in but once I did they were fine! I had the leather ones

The design looks cool (looks like a classic high cut Converse) but with a non skid outsoles. however, it says that the size is unisex, so the feet width is more narrow compared to the actual men's size.

These work fine if you are working shorter shifts but after a while of standing, they just aren't comfortable. Also when I first put them on they felt like they were cutting my ankles luckily they broke in fine after a short walk.

I've ordered the leather twice, and in both pairs, a hole worn in the sole less than 6 months after. Canvas are sturdier, however, with those the dye in them has stained my ankles. Looks like I was tied up some where and drugged around.

The shoes looked nice however the leather is rather solid and doesn't flex with the foot very easily so as I wore them they dug into my ankles and have left me with dark lines at the back of my ankle.

seems cheaply made, the inner lace holders broke after 2 weeks of use, and they arent very easy to clean, also runs a little narrow for a high top style

Kept me from slipping and sliding behind the bar. Only lasted 3 months before the side started peeling off. Going to order again and try some kind of protector spray.

I’ve been buying this exact shoe once or twice a year now, as I wear them out from wearing them everyday. The quality has really gone down hill, I find myself having to buy them more frequently. I think they’ve changed something in the soles, it takes no time for them to get worn out. I’m going to have to find a new go-to work shoe.

Was happy when i received the shoes and wore them for the first time. Got two pairs, one for myself and one for my wife. Mid way thru day 1, we both started having foot pain due to the way the shoe itself is built. The material is so stiff, that when the shoe creases as you walk, it digs into the top your foot. With the high tops, i didn't have issues, but the low tops gave my wife huge callouses on her heels even with full length socks. I figured it would break in after a few uses, but i was wrong. Wouldn't recommend.

Something changes with this style because I have had 5 pairs of these. This last pair were unwearable. I'm on the floor for 8 hours my feet hurt every time I wore them. No support which is a shame cause I love this style.

I was so excited to finally have shoes that look decent. That way I'm not wearing big clunky shoes that don't look good if I'm out of uniform. First day of them "omg these feel amazing!!". 6 hours into my shift "okay they no longer feel amazing". Once my feet sunk in they weren't as comfy. The insole is very flat and not much there. Second day of wearing them, got some pretty bad blisters on my heels (whatever they're new so you have to break them in). BUT, third day of wearing them, walking to work was so painful because of my blisters and then taking my shoes off my socks were stained with blood from my blisters. It was awful. Now everytime I wear them after a while my feet hurt, even with the insoles I bought to try and help. Friends at work have other styles from this brand and theirs are fine. So my advice to you, stick with the boring bland looking ones.

I bought a pair of Old School IIs a couple of years ago -- best shoes I've ever had. But as so many companies seem to do, Shoe's for Crews could not let perfection stand -- they had to discontinue them and produce an Old School III, which is more boot-like than a true old school sneaker. I still would have ordered a pair of the IIIs when my Old School IIs wore out, but although they still feature the Old School IIIs on their website, and even have ads directing traffic to them, when you attempt to order them you are met with a disappointing "this item is no longer available" notice. What's up with that??? So I ordered the Pembroke, thinking they looked similar to the Old School IIs, but they do not, and the fit is terrible. They are the worst shoe I have ever attempted to jam my feet into. They are too long, much too narrow, hurt my feet just trying them on, and they have a rubber toe cap that completely destroys the look of the shoe. They look like skis and feel like a medieval torture device. I can't return them fast enough -- my feet hurt just looking at them. Here is my question to Shoes for Crews, and any other business that engages in the inexplicable practice of discontinuing popular products. If a product is not broken why must you attempt to improve it or modify it, or replace it with your misguided fantasies of something better? Did you not learn anything from Coca Cola's botched attempt to produce New Coke? If you want my business again, Shoes For Crews, bring back the Old School II!

These shoes look great but you may as well slip into a cinder block. They are stiff thick material and hurt not only the bottoms of your feet but the tops cut into your foot too. Then the backs cut into your legs. I DO NOT RECCOMEND UNLESS YOU SIT ALL DAY AT WORK.

I have not a single good thing to says besides that I love the style.. Material is the worst, they used to last a lot, now after 1 month is pealing off and getting bad odor looks like this company is using cheaper materials.. I hope this helps to make improvements..

I had a pair similar to these prior to buying these that lasted me two years, after a week of getting these the cheap leather was peeling. Just awful
