This is a very cute backpack. The material is shiny and silky and it looks very nice. But it has a lot of flaws and ultimately I sent it back. It only has one small external pocket, and everything else is inside. The inside has a metal frame that is almost impossible to open without setting the backpack down. The security features are ridiculous; I can see how it might be convenient to have some sort of zipper lock for travel, but I almost needed an engineering degree to figure out how to undo the double-locked zippers. The instructions were indecipherable. There are some slip pockets and a zipper pocket inside, and the pink lining is very pretty. The backpack is big enough for a regular-size notebook or folder, but the metal frame smushed my folder when it collapsed in. Despite the inane security features, there was no key clasp. Also, only one of the straps unhooks for some reason, but I couldn't figure out any way to convert it to a purse and even if you could, there's no where to tuck away the other strap.

I really wanted to love this backpack. The specs were so alluring that I ignored all the comments about the straps being too large. I thought maybe I could get away with wearing a winter coat and having it fit better - yet the straps were still too big (5'3'' & 115 lbs). The loose straps projected the weight away from my back that it hurt my back much too much after about an hour of wearing it. Also, the zip closure at the top is much too rigid that it makes it impossible to zip up. You need to use both hands, have the person next to you hold your stuff for you or give you that extra hand just to zip the damned thing up.

I would give this 5 stars, but the zipper is terrible. It’s cheaply made and it hangs up all the time, and it’s very difficult to close. I expected much better for a $119 bag. Especially Pacsafe. I’d send it back but I’ve already used it. So I guess I’ll see if I can find someone to replace the zipper. Also, the straps are a little long but still comfortable.

Very stylish bag and actually bigger than I thought it would be. It will be lovely for my trip to Europe this month. I’ll feel both safe and stylish :)

This is a really nice-looking, lightweight but roomy backpack. Bought it for European travel as a daypack. Straps are comfortable and security features are good. A good value for the price, too.
