These shoes are very noises. The pleather squeaked for weeks. They're mildly comfortable nothing special. I have extremely sensitive/painful feet though.

Have been wearing them in the house to break them in and to get the squeaks out of them. Did not come in wide so ordered a half size bigger. Fit ok just lots of squeaky noise, it is going away.

The first pair I got (the blue) was great. Lightweight, comfortable. So I got this pair in black. I was disappointed. It is made with the "leather" look. The tongue of the shoe cuts into your foot, not as comfortable as the blue pair. This is the 5th year of dealing with SFC and if they would make the Avery in material like the blue, that would be the only Safety shoe I would buy.

I love this shoe, however my feet started to smell after using them for a month to the date! I will be looking for all leather and returning these. Too bad as they are nice looking. Also they were VERY NOISEY at the beginning

My job requires the slip resistance shoes and these preform well in that area. In the last year and a half I've purchased four different styles of these shoes and every pair either tear along the side (toe area) or come apart at the tip of the shoe. One pair even came apart from the sole. For the price, the quality should be much better than me having to purchase new ones every couple months.

I ordered this because of the style. It was really cute. After wearing it for one and half day, my feet was all in pain. The material use is hard especially the tongue. It's really hard that it's digging into my foot. I thought the shoes just needed a break in so I wear them again for the 3rd time. It was still the same. I have read this kind of review from here but I ordered them anyway in hope that it was fixed by the manufacturer as it's been 4yrs. It's still the same. I'm gonna return this product.

The only shoe that I wouldn't recommend of all the different types of Shoes For Crews that I have had. This one lasted the least amount of time before having to be replaced. The reason was that it split across through the bottom of the shoe at the ball area of the foot on both shoes! I have never had a shoe split like that before. Of course, it was after the 60 day free return policy. Shoes For Crews are great shoes; I just would not recommend this one. Avery gets a D- score from me.

I am an 8 in most shoes but this size 8 felt so huge on me, like I was trying on a men's size 8 instead of a women's size 8. Too big all over - in length, width, and "height." A nonslip sole doesn't help if my foot is sliding all around inside the shoe. I thought about exchanging them for a smaller size but they were so big that I didn't know how many sizes down to try next. It felt like they were at least a full size and a half too big for me.

I had to exchange for a half size up because the toe box is very narrow. Once I got the right size I had to return for a different style because the leather is so stiff even after 2 weeks that when my foot bent during a step it literally scraped the skin off my second toe on both feet. Paying for faster shipping 3 times now trying to get a comfortable pair is a real bummer. SFC slip resistance is unmatched by other brands though.
