I needed a pair of black shoes to work a film event. Nothing fancy, strictly business. These fit the bill perfectly. They are comfortable with athletic socks and I felt save on all the surfaces I walked on. I can’t say how long these will last since they will be used at film events and not everyday use.

I have a 16 triple E flat foot, I've been wearing Shoes for Crews for well over 30 years, They finally came out with Sneakers my size, for the longest time it was always the dress shoe that I was able to fit in. I have noticed that the shoes are made cheaper as the years went by, but I would still buy them cause they are a perfect fit , style and comfort on my feet.

Bought these for my kitchen job. I sometimes buy men’s sneakers for the width b/c I have a hard time finding women’s shoes wide enough. Unfortunately these wide shoes didn’t work for me. Maybe if they’d been EE. Seem to be sturdy shoes, however, and price was good. Seemed like they would have been fairly supportive as well. Wish I could have given them a try. Thankful to Zappos for their easy returns! Length is true to size or a half size long.

I'm finding this shoe to be very comfortable to work in all day while I'm on my feet. I walk about 20000 steps a day at work and needed support AND comfort which I get from this shoe. I've had issues with Shoes for Crews not staying tied but did not have that issue as I've had MANY times with previous purchases. This shoe though, just feels tight in the toe so it's a bit narrow I guess.

This is a great pair of shoes. However, for some strange reason, the tongue on these shoes are short. They are hard to hold onto and slip in the show when putting them on.

I have gone through quite a few different pairs of shoes from Shoes For Crews, but I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite purchases. To me, it's a good all-around shoe. The grip is amazing, the look is attractive, they are reasonably durable, and pretty comfortable. These have become my daily shoes running a roofing company; they need to look professional when going into someone's home, but also be able to stick to any roof that I get on. I can enter any home or climb on any roof with confidence. I would definitely recommend giving this shoe a try.

So far in the past 2 weeks it is holding up nicely. Good support, no slipping on wet floors. It is a bit snug for being a wide width shoe.

Good comfort and quality. Leather upper keeps shoe sturdy. Non slip sole is the best one sold.

I have used Shoes For Crews boots/shoes for many years. I deliver food to restaurants. So the slip resistance sole is the key for me.

I ordered the 13Wide but the toe box is very narrow. My toes are cramped and uncomfortable. Not good for working in the kitchen and standing all day. Thank goodness I am able to return them.

I am a female I need extra wide shoes, I have did research and no one makes them for women so I had to resort to buying men's shoes for work. They do the job. I wish this company would make them.

I guess I just have hard to fit feet, I swear by the tread of shoes for crews but two weeks into wearing these and my feet ache everyday. I actually think I have the standard average shoe size but these shoes are already busting out on the sides with every step I take.

I just received a pair of the galley today and my first impression is that it's comfortable fix well and actually looks good but sfc shoes is only known for quality slip resistant but that's where it ends they don't last no more that a few months before falling apart so I'll do a follow up review when I wear them for a few months

This shoe is great looking. But, if you do a lot of walking, it can be very tough on your feet. After wearing these for three days, my feet and back started hurting. I knew I was going to have issues since I could feel every step as if I was walking on a piece of hard rubber. I've worn New balance shoes for years and will go back to them for sure. These are great shoes if you do not walk much.

I purchased Galley II in a men's wide, thinking the shoe would be wide. It is NARROW! The toe space is uneven (Skechers did this for a while, irksome! and foot pain as the footbones crunched togther!) and the toe box is really narrow and tapering almost to a point. The sole itself is really narrow, absurdly so. Rounded but over-tapered. Also these shoes are longer than other size 8 men's shoes I own. They look great, I will try them for a week, and either they shape or I'm returning them.

The Tongue seemed too stiff, and the shoes seemed too narrow even with a wide width.

The treads holds food particules easily so they must be wash off with a hose or scrubbed periodically. The most frustrating thing is the toe seam on one shoe open around the 4th toe and my purchase is just out of the 6 month warranty period. The shoes are 8 months old and not worn the entire time due to unemployment. Then when employment started they were rotated with different style of athletic work shoe. Save yourself money and don't buy these slipsafes.
