I bought these as a pair of walking shoes but my feet were still sore. Went to doctor and he said send them back, they are not for walking.

These are a pretty solid dupe of classic Vans-- they do take a couple of weeks of regular use to break in fully (thick socks are a good idea during that time. The foot sweat is worth it) but once broken in, they're pretty much perfect! I got them because as a barista, I'd like to not spill hot coffee on my feet. The leather upper has done well to keep my feet dry, even it's faux leather (which I think it is). The slip resistance is perfection! Esp on those slick stone floors! And the thick, squishy insoles are especially nice on the feet. There has only been 1 problem: I got these in mid-july and wore them for probably 25hrs/week on average until they broke in late Feb-- on the outside edge along the ball of my foot, they split from pinky toe, to about my arch. A sudden split, too, nothing that indicated they were beginning to tear. It was right at the seam where the upper meets the sidewall. BUT I have to say that until then they were holding up just fine. There was a spot on the other shoe that had cracked and peeled but unless I were to dunk my foot in a bucket, that shoe never let in liquid. Still I was hoping to get more than 7 months out of the shoes. That said, I did reorder another pair as the faults aren't enough to make me try a different style. Definitely a great choice as a basic, but super functional shoe!

Kind of tight over the metatarsophalangeal joints (where toes connect to body of the foot).

I actually like these shoes, but Ive bought 2 pairs and both pairs ripped in the back heel after about 6 months of use. I think it was the left shoe in both cases. Other than that, I thought they were comfortable and I liked the look. Unfortunately, I need something that will last me until my next annual subsidy.

These are nice looking and comfortable. However, they seem more sized for men.than women. They are too long for a women's size 7. I had to out a thick insert in them to take up some room

Although these shoes provide great comfort I do not recommend getting them. I ordered two different pairs of shoes so I have only worn these two weeks and they are already falling apart. These are no way leather but a pleather cover over a comfy shoe. The black covering on the show is cracked and pealing off. If your feet get wet in the service industry at all, although very comfortable, I definitely do not recommend. Two weeks and I cannot wear them any longer. Very disappointed!

I have bought 3 sets of these shoes and every time its the same problem, top portion cracks and the sides right behind the top front portion start cracking. If you are looking for a good shoe thats splash resistant they are great until they start cracking!

Wet spills leak through due to wear and tear after a couple of months. I almost slipped due to an oil spill, at first my ankle hurted due to no cushion support around the ankle of these shoes.

I like the way they look and they are ok for comfort. The noise they make is amazing. I can not wear them anymore in my office.

They were nice the first few months but now they have peeled and the inside breaks apart where the heel is so it feels like your walking on a Pebble so I constantly need to take my shoe off and dumb it

This shoe is uncomfortable. The tongue is to long and was causing pain rubbing against my leg. The size fits a half size bigger. Wore them one day to work and it was not a good day for my feet.

I'll say these don't seem like a shoe for someone who is constantly moving around. Felt to narrow in the toe and was rubbing side of foot. Material felt like a dress shoe. The soles are very flat as well.

I wore these shoes once to work and they don't last when u are constantly working and moving around. I already have a crease in them and they are a hard leather material. Definitely not a shoe i would buy again. Luckily they were purchase of thru my job and not personal cause i would return them

The tongue is too rough. It is not comfortable to walk in that roughness. It can cut my skin easily.

After wearing these shoes I have lumps on my Achilles tendon. These shoes literally gave me tendonitis due to no ankle support. They scraped the the back of my ankles so much and I couldn't afford to get new ones so I had to wear them a while. They look cool but after just a couple months they tore apart. These shoes suck do not buy them.

I work as a barista, 4 days a week, and as I needed proper work shoes i thought about giving these a try. They are certainly slip resistant and after the first couple of weeks they break in nicely and get very comfortable. The problem is the overall construction quality of the shoes. In no way this is real leather. The upper started to crack and peel after only a few weeks, getting really thin around the toes. After only a couple of months of use I tripped on the stairs nothing major, mind you and the right shoe just split open around the big toe, with a large gash that made the unusable. Fair price, but I absolutely do not recommend them if you want anything that will last you longer than a season.
