Excellent except too narrow in the toe box- I have a bunion and it did not work out for me so gave them to my son.
Skechers go walk max have more room in toe box

I really liked my pair of original Gel-Torrence, this newer version is built slightly different and not quite as comfortable on my feet. They're not my old favorites but I think their going to work out fine for me.

First off, I love, love, love Asics, but this shoe was not for me. I have high arches and the support isn't there. I use these for leisure/walking and if I walk over a mile or so my extensor digitorum longus (EDL muscles) hurt. They also run a bit small and the 12.5 I ordered should probably have been a 13.

At the end of my walk this morning I was going to write and coincidentally this email popped up. I have worn Asics for decades. I love my GEL-Cumulus 21 Retro Tokyo but the GEL-TORRANCE 2 are extremely uncomfortable on the top of the foot. I have tried loosely tying them, straightening my socks, smoothing the tongue of the shoe and nothing seems to take away the irritation over the top of the foot on bopth shoes. Any suggestions?
