My son loves his new ASICS. He over pronates so these work well for him in conjunction with his inserts. Doesn't complain of foot pain anymore!

I don't feel any difference between a GT-1000 8 and a GT 1000 7, or even a GT-1000 4, but am always happy to pay less for last year's model.

These are a great choice for someone with pronated feet. They reduce the heel pain our son suffers from due to his feet being pronated. We've ordered a pair of these each time his shoe size changes.

Wow. Looking for a more affordable stability shoe to compete with the comfort and support of the kayanos? Check these out. They don't offer quite as much support, more like just enough, with a lot more flexibility midsole. I wear these to the gym and on runs 5k (30 min.) and under. Great training shoe that fit my skinny feet.

My kids seem to have my overpronation problem. They always wanted the in style sneakers for school. Since I bought them these, my 11 year old won't wear anything else. He says his feet hurt with other shoes. Just wish Asics had more style/color options for kids with overpronation.

Great shoe. Fits like a glove or a shoe. Lots of bounce in the step and feel comfortable when running. Not too tight and fits true to size.

GT -1000 series are the best design for me after I tweak the inserts because of plantar problems

I have been very pleased so far using the Asics gt-1000 series, and these shoes are one of the best. They have a very stable and supportive base, and they make me feel like I am walking on springs while running. I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes for someone like me who has a narrower-width foot and mild pronation.

This was my 1st time buying this model of Asics so I was a bit nervous about the purchase, but after wearing them for a week in a fast paced Ortho clinic I'm glad I bought them! Super light and very supportive for when I have to turn quick on my feet or do a fast pivot, also at the end of the day my feet feel aren't killing me! All that and they look stylish too! I'll definitely be buying these again!

Ordered the GT-1000 8, they showed up in about three days. They are comfortable and fit like a glove. Comfortable and stylish.

Great shoes - nice details and well constructed with good materials. Both color variations I have a good and just flashy enough to be fun but not gaudy. Love these shoes!

Great shoes for me because I'm flat footed. I have always used asics to run also because of my over pronation.

These shoes are great. I am an 11.5 and they are true to size. I have wide feet, and they fit comfortably. I use them for running 3-12 mile runs. I am very happy with my order.

This shoe is very stable and comfortable. The sole is soft and firm when needed. Very happy.

Very comfortable fit with great arch support. The front is slightly angled so you feel like you are getting more push off your step. I recently experienced discomfort in the toe area with some other running shoes but these have a tight, comfortable fit. I have been getting into running and these fit way better than the name brand running shoes you typically get from big box retailers.

I've typically been diagnosed as a neutral gait, but noticed my last pair of shoes wore more under my big toe and seemed to be compressed inward. This is a perfect amount of support for the mild pronation that happens after miles and miles and feels natural for my neutral gait. Great pair of shoes right out of the box and already 20+ miles in
