I was trying to find a tennis shoe to replace my Nimbus-20 and this was not it. They felt heavy and the arch support was non-existent. I wouldn't even have been able to wear these to work. Too bad, I love Asics but I may have to return to my previous brand if I cannot replace the Nimbus 20.

Purchased the cumulus 21 knit, in my normal size, have worn twice, gives me excruciating heel blisters, cannot wear shoes for than a week after, heel is very stiff, not a fan of the fixed tongue, hard to get shoes on

The heel is much higher than the front of the shoe. Feels like you are wearing high heels. Foot slides down causing blisters

I love the look of these shoes! However, they have a "silk" like heel and the shoes dont stay put, heel goes up and down. Awful feeling when your a nurse and walking all day. My socks dont stay on either. Id return if it wasnt a hassle. Cumulus has been my shoe for years. Super disappointed :(

My shoe has already started getting torn from top. Its been a month I ordered it.

They look good but they are not as comfortable as I expected them to be.

I found the sizing to be very small on the ladies' range, which was disappointing as I have large feet but still wanted a ladies' fit and style.

Always loved ASICS Gel Cumulus. This version, 21, fits loosely in the heel. My heel comes out with each step. I'll have to shop for a new sock(s) to help keep my heel from coming out of the shoe. Disappointed.

These shoes initially felt fine but made my arches sore and felt too rigid for my feet.

This is a nice shoe, but the description said it was on of Asics most comfortable cushioned shoes. Unfortunately after many Asics purchases I know this not to be true. Good for walking and mild workouts, not great for running and high intensity training.

I bought these in December 2019 and the bits where the holes are have split, not great quality.

Not cushioned in toe box. Runs smaller by about a half size. I had to return because of foot pain on the ball of my foot. I'll go back to my gel kayano when the new ones are available.

Unfortunately whilst this trainer looked nice and was relatively comfortable, it was too loose on the heel which meant my heel was lifting up every time I took a step and so they had to be returned.

I wear size 7.5 so that is what i ordered. It said 7.5 on the shoe but when i put on it wore like a size 7. I returned next day.

It makes my foot hurt when I wear them. Not very comfortable.

I've always worn Asics and will continue to do so. However, I purchased these trainers in the hope they would support my recovery from Achilles tendinitis. Having only ran two short distances to test them out I found they were too heavy, made my feet hot and aggravated my ankle. I'm now back in a worn out pair of Asics fuzex gel lites. They're old, but they're not troubling my Achilles. That's not to say they're not a good trainer, just they're not the right ones for me. I'm hoping Asics can recommend something else of the like. Waiting a response.

I'm a fan of Asics Nimbus and have been wearing them for the last 8 years at least. Last one I bought was the Nimbus 21 and loved, you can walk all they and don't feel it. Now in I decided to try a different style so my shoes don't look all the same and gave the Cumulus a try. I wore it twice and absolutely dislike and regret my purchase. It's feels very tight on the top, like a constant pressure on my foot, even tough is the same size of my Nimbus. The heels support is also poor and I feet hurt so bad after wearing them the whole day. I didn't have courage to go run with it after my walking experience. Wish I had kept my box to try to return it. I'll stick with the Nimbus forever now.

The shin splints and arch pain have been unbearable. I have rested and tried running again and they come right back as soon as I warm up. I switched to another brand of running shoes and it doesn't happen. So, I am certain that it is these pair of shoes that was causing my pain. I wish they had an exchange policy. After this bad experience I don't think I will purchase from them again.

I have been wearing the asics gel cumulus for over 20 years because I found them so comfortable with the same dependable fit with each model until now. I find the 21's are not even close to the comfort level of previous designs. The new color schemes and decorative detail are nice improvements, but I no longer feel like I'm stepping into a cloud. The arch support is less (lower) and the soles feels hard, no longer soft and bouncy. My stride us completely different even awkward. I am very disappointed you changed the cumulus this much. This is not a cumulus but a completely different shoe. Please bring back the cumulus I know and love!
