I don't know if they shipped manufacturing to another country, but quality went way down. Not the prices, though. Soles fall apart, literally wear out in 3-4 weeks. And, it's not with this specific shoe. I've been wearing my most recent purchase for about 2 weeks, a little red piece of my sole is missing. It's almost to the point of ridiculous.

They are wearing down very quickly. My feet also hurt more than other shoes.

My old asics are an 8 and fit perfectly. New asics came and the new ones are clearly at least a size larger. By this time packaging is gone (I presumed they would fit!) $109!

I'm about 70 miles into this shoe and the fabric on the side of the shoe has started to tear. I had the kayano 25's and used them for about 450 miles and they never tore. A little disappointing and they have a tighter fit on the toes than the 25's.

I have run less than 20 miles on these shoes and the treads are already showing significant signs of wear. Very disappointed with this situation. I have been lifetime user of product and never had this occur. It the quality of your product declining?

Love the comfort of the shoe however it does not look like this shoe will last long. The shoe does not clean easily and it scratches up easily too. The fabic on top of the shoe is starting to bend and have creases in it. Overall for the money, I am very disappointed in this shoe.

I have run in Gel Kayano shoes for 15+ years but usually try to get 300 miles out of a pair. For some reason, before I hit 200 miles on this pair, I had worn through on the outside heel of both shoes. I know I heel strike and I pay attention to my stride but this was crazy. I made it to 250 and the shoes felt O.K., but I really don't want to wear them walking around because of the condition. Hope my next pair doesn't have the same issue or I'll need to figure out another shoe of over pronators...

The pair I received has a "hard spot" in the sole of the left shoe that makes them uncomfortable to wear. This is my fourth, and probably last pair of these shoes. They used to be the best fitting most comfortable shoes available, but constant changes in sizing and toe box construction has me looking for another brand.

The first thing that I have noticed with this product is that I am in less pain when I run. However, insight into if your feet are wider than the standard foot. This is insightful information to look into. My feet wow they seem to run true to size seem to be wider than the standard foot. Which makes the shoe a bit tight and uncomfortable.

I've been using asics Gel Kayano for over 10 plus years and since last year I am really disappointed. I order 3 -4 pairs a year for work quality is lacking. Sneakers only last me 2 mths if that and now ive development heel spurs. Cost going up quality is getting worse and worse. I need to research other sneakers on the market.

I have been using Asics Kayano running shoes for at least 20 years. The last two models (Kayano 25 and Kayano 26) have poor quality outsole, and wear out in around 125 miles of road running or about 350 miles of treadmill running... They are comfortable up to that limit, and after that, the cushioning is not as effective, partly because most of the outsole has wore out. The earlier models used to last much longer - I believe they used to advertise it as "blown carbon" outsole, black in color, and it was quite durable.

First run I (4mi/9:30 pace), I saw tremendous wear on the bottoms already. These might last me 1 or 2 months tops. Gona switch back to Brooks. Gave them a shot since these were 40$ cheaper

Purchased size 12 but they fit very large and wide. I need an 11.5. Aside from that, the quality, appearance and cushion is fantastic.

Comfortable, Good Fit but only after 4-weeks the exterior of the shoe started getting holes and seperating. Been using the Gel Kayanos for over 15 years and this is the first time this has happened

Runs small. Good support in heel but causes foot to slide forward in shoe.

I like Asics and usually buy their brand. I always order 9.5 size. These Kayano's are a little to tight in the toe and the width for me. After wearing them for awhile they start to aggravate the nerves in my feet to the point of limping. I would have been better off with 10 but it is probably too late to return them.

I bought this 2-3 weeks ago. My feet was hurting on 2nd week run.

I've worn these seven times and the upper is already fraying on both shoes

Comfortable to walk in but they are painful to run in. I purchased these because my old ones were causing calf ache but these are painful on my feet, and every step is excruciating. Would like to return but not sure how.

I had a pair of 25s which I loved. But for some reason the 26s don't seem to have the same feel or cushion. The balls of my feet/toes rub a lot.
