Great walking and running (training) shoe. Lighter than what I remember of the early versions (late 1990s).

Comfortable, great for running. Gel Kayano is the only running sneaker for me.

I am not someone who "breaks in" shoes; if they don't feel perfect when I try them on I do not purchase them. I have 5 pins in one foot (which caused it to spread out), and bunions and arthritis in both. These shoes, recommended by my podiatrist for motion control, felt unbelievably cushiony. It is hard to believe they are so stable. Note: I am a woman (size 9 Wide) who purchased this men's (regular width) version in size 7.5 and they fit perfectly! Thank you Asics!

Delivered as promised. Fit was perfect shoe size match. Suffer from nueropathy from six years of continuous chemotherapy and these are the most comfortable shoes I have tried. Excellent support and cushion. Not too soft or rigid. Love the look and would definitely buy again....

The best stability shoe for the money. Consistent fit from previous generation and material upgrades keep me coming back to this shoe.

Great shoes however they run slightly short compared to my other ASICS. Still fit me well though!

It has extra cushioning compare to GT 2000 8. Kayano is excellent for running. The quality as always is excellent.

Toe box is wide enough to accommodate my flat feet with bunions on both big toes. Front of shoe is rounded, not pointed like the Kayano-27.

Upgraded from my Gel Kayano 23, which were worn though. The Gel Kayano 26 has the same great fit and feel. No hot spots with the flexible fabric on the upper. Excellent cushioning through the forefoot and heel. Highly recommend.

Great running shoes. Fit is good, if slightly wider than comparable Nike shoes. No break-in period needed, just lace up and go. The stability feature is awesome, keeping knee pain away. The shoe breathes very well and has the perfect amount of cushion and light weight.

I was having a minor plantar fasciitis issue after running in another brand's shoes for the past couple of years and decided to go back to ASICS for awhile to see if that helped. I had previously tried many ASICS models but never the Gel-Kayano. I was pleasantly surprised. These shoes run well on roads and trails as well as for recovery and harder effort paces. They are supportive yet light weight. They have excellent cushioning yet are not big and bulky. After my first 100 miles in them they still run like new. My foot health is at about 80% so I think they are helping. And they look good! I will likely get another pair when ready to replace the current pair.

Comfortable and great for walking. Didn't even have to break them in.

I've been wearing Kayano's for the past 10 years. The Kayano 26 are my favorites. I own 4 different colors.

Great feel underfoot, as if running on a cloud. Good space in the back of the heel. Read reviews prior to buying my first pair stating run smaller in size, I find this not to be the case, they are true to sizing.
