I ordered the Regina in my normal size in both black and brown. The black pair fit perfectly, but the brown pair was quite a bit larger. I ordered down one full size because the next half size down was not available, and those were a bit too tight. I would say the black is true to size (and a much more sturdy feeling leather) while the brown pair is a thinner leather and runs a half size large. Sizing issues aside, these are lovely in terms of comfort and style, especially for the price.

Super disappointing that these are about a half-size large; I ordered a 7.5 because this is my usual size but these are definitely big. I added insoles which help enough to wear them, but unlike my Frye boots these won't work at all for walking any distance. I strongly suggest ordering a half-size smaller than you usually take.

Great "business casual" flat with enough of a point at the toe to give it a little style, and of course like all Frye these are comfortable and durable. However this is definitely half a size large; I added insoles that made it fit okay, but when I reorder I will get a 7 rather than my usual 7.5. I highly recommend these with the caveat that the sizing is a little big.

The band around the opening feels tight, but being that this is real leather, I trust it will stretch, so I’m trying to break them in. I’ll need bandaids. The rest of the show feels like it’s a good fit. They’re nice-looking and strike a good balance between casual and work-appropriate (at least for my office), and the color could work with either translucent or brown tights. Hoping they become more comfortable with time.

Comfortable and, for a plain flat, stylish. Quality construction. Too wide for my narrow heel, but would have kept them if they fit.

I've been looking for black flats for a long time, but had no luck finding comfortable ones. Pretty much expected to have to return these as well, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got them.....they fit and they are actually comfortable! I'd definitely say they run a tad big, but I'd read the reviews so I bought a half size down. I love the braiding down the back of the heel. Just adds a little "extra" :-) I would absolutely buy these in another color!

I read some reviews about the sizing and the fit, I ordered a size 6 which is my size and they fit fine. I point in the toe was more than I expected, but doesn’t bother me enough to return them. The leather is VERY thin and delicate, I would not consider these flats to be durable. I bumped the side of the shoe on a chair leg and it scratched the leather. The leather seems to be good quality and soft, but for my use I don’t think they will last long.

These run big! I am pretty much always an 8.5, and have Frye boots in 8.5 that fit well. After 3 tries I ended up getting a pair of size 7.5. They are cute, great quality materials, and comfortable! They aren’t very supportive, but that’s not a problem for me!

A little loose, but not wide, if that makes sense? I like that the sole is synthetic, not as slippery as leather soles get from rain/snow. And a moderate point, a good hybrid to the rounded ballet styles I have lots of.

Nice quality. Just took one day of wearing around the office to break in. My new go to black flats!

Hoping I’ll love these Frye flats as much as I adore my Frye boots. So far so good!

I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 in Nike tennis shoes but the 9.5 that I ordered felt like a full size too large. I really liked the look of these shoes as I was trying to find a stylish pair of dress shoes I could comfortably wear throughout the entire school day, as my job has me on my feet a lot. These shoes would also look great with skinny jeans for a casual look after work. Hoping to get a correct size after exchanging my first pair because the price can’t be beat on these Frye flats.

I wear an 8-1/2 size shoe, but I usually buy smaller size for flats and sandals. I went with the size 8-1/2 recommendation on the site, but it was way too big for me. Also, I did not realize it has such a pointed toe, which I need to avoid for the health of my feet. Looked like a nice shoe. Leather felt good.

I so wanted to keep these shoes but I ended up returning them. The leather, pointed toe and back detailing are beautiful. It looks well made. The shoe is classy yet simple, can be dressed up or down. However, the sizing for me was off. I normally wear a 10 and ordered both a 10 and 11. The 10 was too tight in the toe box. The 11 was too big, even with an additional insole.

Cute, versatile shoes. They seem to run just a tad big but I am making due. The left shoe is rubbing on my heel so will need some breaking in, however no blisters!

I agree with the other review that these run large! I've had several of these in all colors, but the black ones that arrived today are huge....at least a half size large.

I love the detailing on the back and the style of the shoe. The color was beautiful and the leather was extremely soft. I'm typically between a 8.5 and 9 and ordered the bigger size based on the reviews. However, even the 9 was a bit snug in the toe. I was going to keep them at first, as I thought they may end up working. But, the longer I wore them around my living room, the more I realized they would probably be too small (the more I walked the more it felt like my toe was pushing against the front). In the end, I had to send them back. I really wish I didn't have to. I'm thinking of trying the 9.5 and hoping they'll work. I love that Zappos makes that possibility so easy with their return policy.

I love Frye leather and styling but these have no arch support so not so great for everyday walking as I’d hoped.

They’re nice but they become dingy after each wear unless you condition them. That seems a bit high maintenance—more than to be expected for leather shoes. They also make my feet look wide because there is a very soft structure. You’ll quickly see scuffing on the sides and backs of the shoes. Even still, it is a quality shoe.

I have 4 pairs of Regina flats collected over the past decade (red, pink, brown, and these black ones). They are wearable straight out of the box, no breaking in. but they always get pretty significantly worn down with use. the other colors aged well and have a rustic look, but the black looks plain tacky. I was considering buying a new pair (more cost effective than shoes repair) but I decided not to because I will just end up in the same boat. yes get Regina but don’t get black. my Rockport total motion black wedges have lasted me years and still look good in the office. oh and I have plantear fasciitis and these lovely flats give NO support so I always feel the pain at the end of a long walking day. best for light office use. for going out, like shopping, try Vionic!

The leather was soft and supple but the shoe felt large and had no arch support.

Love this style, wore a pair out in 2012. Repurchased seem to run large and wide.

The 7.5 felt too big and loose. Will try again with a 7. Fingers crossed because they are cute and the suede is soft and not "mean" to my feet.

I have 2 other pairs of the Regina Flats from Frye. The other 2 are extremely soft and fit great, This pair in Black were HUGE! At least a half to full size too large. Plus the leather feels really rough and not soft like my others. I think these may be a knock off. I had to return them.
