Terrible! They do not stay on your foot inside the shoe.

I have older pairs that have lasted years and are still going. The new style wears out after a couple months. Also feels small. I'm a size 8 and M felt great for the past 10+ years. I think they're lowering quality to increase margins. Sad.

I have worn Smartwool socks for years.Skiing, hiking, and no show socks. They were worth every dollar for quality and long lasting. These sleuths don't come close to what they used to be. The material is thin and flimsy which might be ok if they didn't slide down off my heel from the first wear. The non slide tape is there but doesn't work.For $14 a pair a complete waste of money.Very disappointed they have lowered their quality.

Too short for my size 11M despite the sizing description. Disappointed ??

WHY...?! I had bought some that DID work by Smartwool. Did you CHANGE something? These slip like crazy.

As soon as I put my (veja) sneaker on it fell off my heel and crumpled under my arch and just turned into a toe warmer :( Returning.

I was quite hopeful after reading positive reviews from others. Unfortunately these socks didn't even survive a few minutes without slipping off the back of my heel. I will say I do wear a wide width and maybe that is the issue. I felt like the length however was fine. I had much better luck with stance brand.

They immediately slip off the heal and bunch up under the foot inside the shoe. Very disappointed in smartwool to make such a stupid sock.

Can't imagine the product testing done for this product. It should have been immediately apparent that they are too visible with common ballet flats. Proper testing would have revealed that they slip off the heel almost immediately. I'm surprised that they are still available because it seems that the low ratings would jeopardize the company's reputation.

The style has been changed and not for the better. The old Sleuth no show sock was excellent. The new design is too high all the way around and shows in whatever shoe you wear them with. Keep this design if some like it but do offer the old design for the rest of us.

They fit , but won't stay up with shoes on

I lve smart wool socks and high hopes for these. They didnt stay on my heels so I returned.

These socks run somewhat small and do not stay on your feet.....love that they are merino wool and light weight but the design of the sock is not practical. I wear smart wool socks all of the time but these are a bust......a total waste of money.

These socks used to be excellent and never fall down but now with the redesign they are terrible! Constantly falling down in the heal, thicker material that is not as breathable and causing blisters. I'm hoarding the old style while I can!

Not worth the $. $15 for one pair and they don’t stay on your feet. Just sitting all day and still had to pull them back on every 5 minutes.

These seem like great socks but kept slipping off my heel, so I returned them. To be fair, I have yet to find a pair of no show socks that doesn't slip off, maybe it's just something about my feet?

Wore under slip on walking shoes. I'm a size 7 1/2. The size medium sleuth was loose. I don't have experience with this type of sock so I didn't think anything of it. The socks slid off my heals several times as I walked casually in my neighborhood, doing errands. I stopped and pulled them back over my heal each time. Frustrating!

Usually I love Smartwool socks, but this was a huge disappointment. Within moments of walking around in them the heel slipped off and bunched up under my foot. I tried readjusting their position on my feet and tried them with a few different pairs of shoes and it was the same every time. They seem too loose even though my feet are right in the middle of the size range for the size I purchased. The silicone strip is very thin and didn't help at all. I have some (much cheaper) off brand socks from Amazon that have a thicker, wider silicone strip that stay on my feet better and longer than these. Not sure what to make of all the positive reviews. I do have narrow feet so maybe that's part of the reason they slide right off, but other Smartwool socks have always fit great, and based on the sizing information these should fit my feet just right.

I am a huge fan of SmartWool, but these just don't work. The heel slides off after a few steps. I tried these again after ordering a pair last year in hopes that they had been redesigned, but they still have the same issue. I wouldn't recommend These little socks.

I didn't use this style because it fit poorly and when I tried to exchange it, never heard from Smartwool and finally called them, I was told my credit card would be credited and they do not do exchanges for the product that I really liked and fit well. Smartwool would do well to advise their customers that they do not do exchanges. I understand they are big on returns, but that helps nothing when you want to exchange for another sock at the same price!!!! Truly disappointed. Will remove Smartwool from my email.

I really looked forward to getting these. The fit runs small and I bought the large. They won't stay on my heel. I bought two pair and will be returning the extra pair. First time I've been disappointed in Smart Wool socks. .
