These sandals are really, really nice! I'm not a man but a woman who wears a size 12W or 13M, which limits me in the shoe dept. I once had a pair of criss-cross slides that I wore into oblivion. They were a little lower cut than these, nubuck instead of smooth leather, with a Birkenstock-like cork sole. I've wanted another pair ever since, but whenever I find some that resemble the ones I loved so much, either they only go up to 11 or the 12 is sold out. I decided to take a chance on these, and boy am I not sorry. They're super soft, smooth, sturdy, and very padded on the inside. They feel like heaven, which helps with any buyer's remorse over the price. I worried that the 43 would be too big in a men's shoe, but they're just right lengthwise. They do look wide, and men's shoes are naturally wider than women's, but they fit me just right. A 42 would have been too short and probably too tight.
