Just sharing honest opinion to help other online shoppers. I was looking for a high quality warm winter boot to replace my UGG adirondacks boots. I'm a big believer in "getting what you pay for" but these are $280 and junk. Based on the brand name and looking at photos and the description, I expected them to be a sturdy, good quality leather boot lined with shearling. On the contrary, they are extremely light and thin, a very small bit of genuine shearling on the outside cuff, and the interior of the shoe is lined with a thin fleece-like polyester (NOT full shearling like described), provides zero warmth, the sole is like a foam material. The label on the inside of shoe reads "LINING: MANMADE" The description on the website is completely inaccurate when it states "plush shearling lining". nothing plush about these boots. In previous winters, I bought the UGG Adirondack Waterproof Bootie ($250). Far and away so much better. really heavy duty, rugged, sturdy boot, Fully lined with genuine shearling inside and on cuff, slip your feet in and so warm and cozy, leather exterior, thick rubber vibram sole, keeps feet dry and protected from cold/snow/rain/sleet, easy to wipe off and clean, high quality and lasted several winters. Highly recommend that boot for walking to work, walking the dog, going hiking, or walking trails in the wintertime. Totally regret this Cole Haan purchase and wasted a lot of money. can't return them because I wore them out to waslk dog once to test and feet froze. Wish I just ordered another pair of ugg adirondacks instead. Hope others learn from my mistake and save yourself $280. DO Buy this shoe IF: you are looking for a lightweight, thin, boot and you don't live in an area with cold winters and not concerned about warmth or longevity.

I bought this for my daughter, who is notoriously difficult to shoe shop for. She has wide, flat feet, and requires good arch support. These shoes fit her perfectly and look great. I also tried them on myself and found them to be stylish and lightweight. I generally wear a 7.8-8, purchased these in an 8 and find them a little roomy. I think that for myself, a 7.5 might work better. My daughter typically wears an 8 and she is happy with how these fit. These boots have yet to be work outside but the sole looks like they will provide decent traction on snowy/icy/slushy surfaces.

Wore these right out of the box in NYC for 3 days and did lots of walking. I had a little bit of rubbing in the heel but nothing that created any blisters. They have a thin lining on the inside and only have shearling around the ankle. Temps were in the 30s and 40s so these were warm enough for that and will be good for chilly days back home in TX. Overall very happy with my purchase!!

Love the overall look of the boot. Not sure what the other reviewer meant by “fleece” because stickers come on the shearling that read, real fur. Highly recommended these boots.

These are lovely and length was fine - but so narrow! Really good looking boots!

Basic boot for rain and snow that isn't deep. Boot isn't warm enough for extreme cold but functional and comfortable. Light weight unlike other similar boots.

I love the look of these boots. They are quite lightweight for a heavier looking boot. However, they weren't comfortable. When I walk, the top part of the boot hits my shin every time I take a step. Too bad, they were cute.

I do not have a big foot at all and these were so so so narrow. Three 'so narrows' might not even be enough. Also the style was so cute without a leg in it...they were really unattractive when I tried them on. It's almost like they were trying to look like a snow boot but didn't have enough presence. Some positive things....they were really lightweight and the material is really nice.

Photo is not as described unless they sent me wrong color. The pair that’s was sent to me was brown not light grey as shown. Disappointed.

Love these boots! They give support and protection of a boot with the feel of a sneaker. I had a pair of brown that I have worn all through the New England winter and I recently bought a pair of black.

Besides being very comfortable and stylish, these shoes are waterproof. An added bonus is how light weight they are great for those florida rainy days or hikes.

Love Cole Hahn, but they are always too narrow. Beyond the normal narrow. Unfortunately I will not purchase any Cole Hahn again. I always need to return ?

The toe was very narrow and tight. I don’t know if going up a size would make a difference even. I had to return these.

I have pretty small feel and the roof of the shoe dug into the top of my foot, even with very thin socks, so if you have tall feet, these are not the shoe for you. If you plan to wear these with thick socks, I definitely recommend going up a half size. The white version is much prettier than the black - I found the proportions of the shoe, stitching, tones were slightly off in the black version for some odd reason.

I was so excited to get these stylish boots but am so disappointed by how they worked out. I have wide-ish feet and these boots are SO uncomfortable. Pinching in the toes to the point where my toes fall asleep. The back heel rubs so badly and gives me blisters every time, even on short walks. The material is also disappointing and somehow got stained in one of the first times I wore these. I’ve worn them probably 10 times and this time I decided it will be the last. Such a shame for the price.

I read the answer to a question if those shoes are suitable for snow! The answer was that the upper material is water resistant. I bought them last year but only ended up this winter wearing them. They get soaking wet in snow and I have cold and wet feet! So disappointing especially since they are not cheap!

I have to agree with another reviewer, the UGG Adirondack is much better quality and worth the price. Pros for this Cole Haan shoe: looks good, stylish, light weight. Unfortunately, the pros are not enough to outweigh the cons. The shoe is really pricy for what you get and not worth the $280 price IMO. I got them on sale at a good price and even then I'm not sure they're worth it. While very light weight, the shoe looks and feels cheap. The sole is on the stiff side and not a soft flexible rubber. Sole feels hard like it would be really slippery on wet surfaces, though I can't say for sure as I haven't worn them outside the house. The body of the shoe is super thin and also inflexible/not soft. No soft cushy lining like an UGG boot. These do not feel like they'd keep your feet warm at all. I would describe these shoes best as style over function. I was hoping for a more streamlined, lightweight alternative to all the UGG boots I have, but although it is lightweight, this boot doesn't feel like it would be comfortable or functional for walking long distances, cold, or snow. If you're looking for just a sporty looking fashion boot, this would be a great choice.

I've been on a search for a warm, waterproof, leather boot for the winter to replace a pair of shearling boots that are not appropriate to wear to work. When I saw these and read that they were lined with shearling, I thought I might have finally found a pair of boots. Nope. These are not shearling lined. The lining is manmade fleece. The innersole is leather which is nice, but there is no insulation so the cold will come right up through the sole. These are also very wide and have no arch support to speak of. I'm returning these and my search continues. It's too bad because the style is nice.

These were a big disappointment. Cute style but quality is horrible. With thermal wool socks in 50 degree weather my toes were quickly frozen and they are not waterproof as described. Definitely not worth the price.
