Fits true to size, the quality doesn't seem to be as good as other Nike shoes we've purchased.

3d Nike swoosh is a nice detail. Hoping the light gray will be easy to clean.

Unfortunately the Velcro strap was too short

I bought these for my son, originally I bought a size 2 but the velcro strap was too short and would not stay closed. I thought maybe he needed a bigger size so ordered a 3 and the velcro strap is still too short. He does not have wide feet or any other issues that would make them not fit, its seems to be a design flaw. In the end, we will keep the second pair and let the strap be loose, he is 6 and really only cares about the fact that they are red and they make him run fast?

These shoes look stylish and fit true to size. My son loves the bright colors on them and says they are comfortable on his feet. The biggest complaint here is that the velcro strap is not long enough. The strap has to be pulled super tight in order to get it to attach to the velcro on the other side of the shoe and it does not stay put for long since it's too short.

Exactly what everyone else is saying - My son wore the "little kids" size of this shoe with no problem. But once he graduated to the "big kids" size, the Velcro strap was WAY too short to close properly.

My son was excited to get these Star Runners! He loves his current pair, but they are getting small. Sadly, the velcro on these would not stay! We returned them to find a better option. :(

The shoe was too "tight" according to my 5 YO son. The velcro strap was too short for his foot.

While my son finds these shoes comfortable the Velcro strap is to short and does not reach across his foot to properly secure the shoe on his foot. I would never buy this model of shoe again.

HEEL OPENING IS TOO NARROW.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying. There is a reason this shoe gets poor reviews...the Velcro is too short and doesn’t stay closed on your child’s feet. I am returning ours. I thought my child’s foot had just gotten wider?, but it is the Velcro.

I have been pleased with Nike in the past- my girls are super active and well made, well fitting shoes are a must. I don't mind spending the $$ for Nikes because they generally last... Not so with these. Bought in April as a second pair of shoes for the summer, just started wearing them recently and still the "backup" pair but one if the soles already started to come off on a hike! Very disappointed in what are usually well made shoes.

The Velcro wears out within two weeks of wearing them, making them useless.

We have bought these shoes many times over the years. However, these did NOT work!! No matter what activity my son did (running, biking, skateboarding, just playing at recess) - the velcro came undone constantly and he was always falling out of shoes.

I regret having not read the reviews! Had I, I would’ve realized how many others complained about the Velcro strip being too short. I don’t think my son’s arches are particularly high. With that said, the Velcro was barely long enough to make it across the top of his foot. Nike can certainly do better!

We have always been Nike fans, but these shoes are awful! The Velcro strap does NOT stay closed for more than a minute after my son puts them on. He is constantly having to stop, bend over and restrap them.

Fit was great but the Velcro is terrible! It stopped sticking in under 1 month. If not for that these were great. Very disappointing!

I was sent Used shoes! This has never happened and I couldn’t believe it. They had obvious wear. Did Zappos really think that was ok? No original box, no notification. When I purchased at Full price, I was not made aware of this either! Super disappointed, I sent back but now my kid still needs shoes.

Waste of money. I read the reviews about the Velcro band not being long enough but foolishly bought them anyway. My skinny narrow-footed 8-year old cant’t run in these cause the Velcro quickly comes undone. Very frustrating to him.

Very poor quality. The shoe started falling apart within 2 weeks. Very disappointed.

I bought these shoes for my son less than a month ago and have been disappointed with the quality. The Velcro on these shoes doesn’t work very well and doesn’t hold the shoe closed securely. It holds when my son is walking but doesn’t hold (and comes open) with any running. These were purchased for him to use in running club so they have to be replaced. They may work if you child isn’t very active but are disappointing otherwise.

The velcro strap is too small. It doesn't stay on at all. This is one of worst pairs of shoes I have purchased on Zappos.

The fit was fine, however the Velcro will not stay closed on the shoes. Day one was fine but now we are on day 7 and every time my son walks the Velcro comes undone. Very frustrating and disappointing.
