For "Big Kids" they were still small in the waist. There is an adjustable waist, but even on the biggest setting, they are too small. Therefore, the velcro and magnets pull. Many (not all) special needs kids are heftier in the middle. They were also too long. That said, our son LOVED them. He doesn't have accidents trying to unbutton or unzip to use the restroom. Even the bottom of the legs have magnets on the sides for easy on and off. Great overall concept, just needs some tweaking.
