When I received the package the new shoes fit like the we're custom made for my foot. No break in needed. Fit perfectly the first time. I used to buy the 857 style, but the 806 is now my go to shoe

The shoes fit exactly right. I have worn New Balance for over forty years and its all I can wear with my narrow feet. I ran two marathons because these shoes fit so well and are very comfortable right away. I wear them all day long and now walk a mile or more everyday. I wish the shoes would last longer then 4 to 6 months. I wear orthotics and the inside of the shoes wear out way to fast and get uncomfortable to wear. The soles seem to wear fast to. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT FIT. Need to make more
narrow shoes to choose from. I know these shoes go fast.
I'd also recommend:
No other brands fit my narrow feet. Size double A's. THANKS FOR YOUR SHOES>

I walk for exercise and have a need for wide shoes. I have purchased wide shoes from all major shoe companies, including New Balance. Walking for exercise should not be very wearing on shoes, but they haven't held up from sole separation to eyelets breaking.
These shoes are extremely well constructed and comfortable. They have felt great from the first day. They are one of the few shoes of any type made in America, but they are expensive at about $180.

I have fairly flat and wide feet and so awhile back I decided to give these a try in size 9 Extra Wide. They're very comfortable and they've held up well. So I got myself another pair!

I love this shoe model - 608 Cross Trainer. It is very reasonably priced and the shoe is perfect for high impact aerobics, running, HIIT, walking, whatever you do. The shoe provides excellent shock absorption and arch support without being bulky. It is nice looking feminine shoe. Depending on how active you are, the shoe will last 6-12 months before breaking down.

Learning to walk again after almost dying from Sepsis that formed in my heel. My sneaker ( like my new ones) caught on the bar under my dining chair the chair fell on top of my heel . Couple of weeks later it became septic and I almost died. Coma for 3 days. Now in rehabilitation trying to walk with a walker. Fell last week and broke collar bone and T6 vertebrae. But I still like my New Balance sneaker. It's been a long process to come back to life again.

I bought these hoping that the sizing would be consistent with my other New Balance walking/running shoes. I was very pleased that they were a good fit although I was a little surprised that they weren't as well cushioned as I would have liked. But with a thick pair of workout socks they are fine and as long as they fit comfortably that is good enough for me.

I'm a mail carrier for USPS so I'm on my feet walking up to 12 hours a day. My feet don't hurt when I come home which was definitely a plus. We'll see how long these last but I can't really blame NB on the length of use because the normal person doesn't walk 10 miles a day in these. I'll definitely buy again when it's time to replace.

I've been wearing New Balance 608 for several years now. I have inserts and spinal /ortho issues and these shoes are a great fit for me! They fit well and help my back as well. I have tried on others but none compare! Thanks for making a great product. Just wish they had more color variety to go with my wardrobe since I have to wear them most of the time for work.

I have increased my walking miles and needed a good shoe. I always turn to New Balance. I was hoping to find some with a wider base but these 's 608's are working out just fine. New Balance does not disappoint.
