It's been a long time since I had almost perfect boots like these - stylish, beautifully constructed, sleek leather but oh so comfortable and solid. The heel is a stable block & not too high to be uncomfortable walking around all day. There is white stitching along the entire base of the boot where it meets the sole/heel that is not apparent in the images. I loved that detail since I owned round-toed riding boots with this feature decades ago! The toe box is perfectly sized for my slim feet, not too roomy and not too tight. They look like expensive riding boots. So worth the price!

I have been in the hunt for comfortable and WATERPROOF boots for quite some time. I was so excited to find these boots. They’re stylish and truly waterproof. At first wear, I was quite disappointed because after a LONG walk they hurt my feet, but I realized I was just breaking them in. Now they are insanely comfortable, so much so that I wear them for long nights out and about. I cannot recommend them enough! I also do not have narrow feet and they fit me perfectly.

This boot is beautiful and has the excellent quality Cole Haan is known for. However, the ankle area felt very restraining when I walked. It was like the leather had little to no give. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, the weight and location of the zipper was super noisy and annoying. Thus, I had to return.

These are very well made shoes. I returned them because of the way they are made. The upper around the top of the foot and the ankle is all one piece. Because of the form and the stiffness of the leather, when I walk and flex my foot, the leather bends right on top of my upper foot and sticks into my skin and that hurts. Ideally the boot would bend at the seam above the toe but it doesn’t. So I have to return them.

Great shoes and support. The leather should be broken in, which I didn't realize and had shoe bite after 5 hrs of wearing them in the office. Didn't even walk anywhere though :-(

I really wanted to love these. They are very stylish and the perfect heel height. However, they are stiff across the front of my ankle joint. The real deal breaker though was the incredibly obnoxious clacking sound they made with every step I took across my living room!

Wanted to love these but they just didn't work. First I bought a 7 and my feet were swimming in them; I returned for a 6.5 and those were way too tight. Sizing aside, the zipper was really difficult to work. For the price of the shoes, I'd expect a better zipper. They look gorgeous but not functional, unfortunately.

Not remotely waterproof. Every light rain seeped in through the seams. The zipper pull clicks when I walk and it drives me crazy. They're really cute but...

I have another cole Haan boot in 10.5 and fits fine, these fit a bit snug length-wise. I have a narrow food so the width was great. Might be tight for those with wider foot. My biggest complaint is that chain on that back of the heel. As others have said, it’s a little annoying to hear it clink every step you take. That is the main reason why I am returning.

I wanted to love these boots - they are beautiful and a very practical style for winter time. They were overall just too roomy. The tassle makes a lot of noise when walking (especially in a quiet office). I would have needed to remove the tassles be able to wear these as much as I wanted to. And the front of the boot shaft rubbed awkwardly against my shin. So sad to return them.

Noisy!!! I'm so disappointed - I love everything about these shoes until I walk in them. The metal on the zipper pull in the back clicks really loudly every time I take a step, I had to put tape on them to silence them and that looks ridiculous. Considering returning them, but I may try putting hot glue in between the metal accents first to see if that's enough of a cushion to silence the click. Really annoying.

DO NOT BUY these shoes!! CHEAP materials! I was so excited to wear these. Unfortunately the first time I wore them to work the back zipper split open on the one shoe and became stuck while I was walking in them. I had to cut the zipper with scissors to get them off when I got home. Expected nicer quality materials and craftmanship from a Cole Haan shoe. Disappointing.

DO NOT buy these shoes!!!! I was so excited to wear them, they're cute shoes. Unfortunatley the first time I wore them to work the back zipper split and became stuck while I was walking in them. I had to cut the zipper with scissors to get them off when I got home! Save your money, I expected nicer quality materials for a Cole Haan shoe.
