The boots I received had obviously been worn before. The signature off white soles were scuffed up and dirty. Not what I expected for such an exspensive product.

Too narrow, comedically short lace, no 10.5, glued down footbed. Love the color. Why are women’s shoes so limited compared to men’s? The only thing we’ve got going is the color variety. No 10.5, ridiculous short lace, limited width options. I’ve said it again and again: An 11 needs different laces than a 6! I’m sick of buying longer laces with almost every shoe I purchase! I want the one in the product photo: the one that is finished with an easy bow. Not a square knot tied with *just enough* lace.

These are the best and most comfortable work boots ever. I've spent hours on ladders and crawled around attics in these. The leather is super soft yet thick and strong. I'm from Minnesota, so I may be partial to Red Wing. For generations my family has worn Red Wing boots. My grandpa had the same model boot when I was a child. I remember him getting a new pair once and thinking there were funny looking orange boots. I saw these years ago when Red Wing came out with their Heritage Collection for men and wished so badly that they came in my size. Finally, I have them and love them.

Finally pulled the trigger on these and am so glad I did. She's a beauty, inside and out. :) On the sizing front, I'm a pretty standard size 8 across most shoes, occasionally an 8.5 to accommodate my slightly wide footbed, and I usually wear a 39 in Euro-size shoes. In these, the 8 fits me well with a little extra room to spare ahead of the toes. I almost tried the 7.5 but decided, with the help of a Red Wing representative, that 8 is probably best for me because they recommend a little extra space between the toes and the end of the toe-box. Width-wise they are perfect. If you're a narrow size 8 you might need to go down to a 7.5. I'm excited to enjoy these boots for years to come.

I have been on the fence about getting a pair of these for a while but I am so glad I did. These took just a couple of wears to break in and they get better each time I wear them. I'll be saving up for the Clara boot next!

I thought it might be helpful show the difference between the women's 9.5 B (average width) and the men's 7.5 E (wide) which are the same length exactly in the sole. I will abbreviate (W) women's and (M) men's. As you can see in the photos, the (M) has more closely spaced stitching and thicker thread. The toe box has more vertical height and is shaped more to give the foot comfort and room, vs. the (W) which is shaped to give a visually streamlined or less prominent look. Bear in mind the (M) is a wide, but that should only affect the V vs. U shape of the toe and not the height of the toe box. The (M) uses slightly thicker leather thru-out, and the tongue and heel cups are not dyed or sueded on the inside like the (W.) The feel of the insole is stiffer in the (M) and spongier in the (W). By design, the place where the instep meets the tongue is firmly stitched down in the (M) and not stitched at all in the (W.) The tongue is attached to the lacing panels all the way up to the second eyelet in the (M) and lower, to the fourth eyelet in the (W.) The (M) heel cup is wider. Their correspondence to Euro sizes is a bit odd. The (M) is a 40 and UK 6.5, the (W) is a 41 and UK 7. I could not get my foot into the (W) at all, but with the thinnest of socks managed to squeeze into the (M.)

These are ever so slightly snug but I know they will stretch in time. Comfortable out of the box and I wore them for 9 hours the first time with no blisters. Looking forward to alternating these with my Iron Rangers!

i ordered size 11 US which should be size 44 europe, but it turns out its actually size 42 europe :( I'm not sure if this is an error but nowhere in your website says that size 11 is a 42 europe. I also have another red wing which size 11 US is correctly 44 Europe. Is it not standard?

They are very well made. The leather is thick yet soft, the stitching is nicely done, the soles feel very durable and the inside has nice cushion. The laces are nice too. I am very happy with these. My feet are a little wide, and these feel a little narrow, but still comfortable and the leather is soft so I know they will break in wonderfully. I am planning on buying another color. It also makes me very happy that they are made in the USA. I like to support local and US brands!

In brief. I wear a size 7 and had to order a second pair of this boot in a 7.5 since the 7 was too tight especially in the toe box. The 7.5 are fitting well. A High-quality boot that I would recommend. I'd suggest Order half size up.

I own the Red Wing Clara boot in a size 10 so I ordered these in a 10 and they were way too big. I reordered these boots in a 9.5 and they were perfect. My only complaint is that the size 10 came with a Red Wing cloth bag which I returned upon my exchange for the smaller size, but unfortunately the 9.5's did not come with the same cloth Red Wing bag which I believe is normally included with Red Wing boots.

I have had these for a year and love everything about them. Fit, comfort, style, how they wear in, etc. Great boot.

Comfortable, great quality!

I love these. I ordered a size 8, which is my regular size for most shoes. When they arrived, I put them on in the house and it was a snug fit. So, after a few days of wearing them in the house with medium thickness hiking socks(Keens), the leather has softened and I feel confident wearing them outside for keeps. The wax laces are awesome, btw. No wimpy rawhide laces or cotton ones that’ll snap after a few wears. They’re an investment and so worth it. PS, I have the black colorway, and they’re a true black. No blue or red hue/cast.

These are well made, but beware.. the sole is stiffer than I thought. May take longer to break in.

Love these boots! Been wanting this color combo for a while, and found them on sale for a steal! Slimmed down B width for women, which is perfect for my narrow feet.

These run true to size. I don't know what other people are talking about who say they run small. They do take time to break in and may cause discomfort and rubbing in certain spots while they break in. But the sizing is definitely true to size. After the break in they're more comfortable than most sneakers.

The size fit perfectly. Of course for them to feel comfortable you do have to break them in I would recommend 1-2 weeks other than that excellent boots
