The fabrication in BY spacedye is so soft, feels like velvet to the touch. Compression is ok. (In comparison, ALO Alosoft fabric feels the same with more heft and greater compression). The reason I gave 4 stars is that the pants are too looong. I; a size 2 and 5'3" and had to take to the tailor to hem. When I called BY to ask if there is an allowance for the cost of hemming, they immediately reimbursed me. How great is that for customer service! My only request is to make this flare without the elastic at the waist and please make a variety of other colors.

Solid pair of yoga pants. They are slightly tight on me which is why I took off one star, but if you size up they’ll be absolutely perfect.

The High Waisted Practice Pant doesn't have a lot of stretchy material compared to other top yoga brands. Thankfully it was easy to return the small and purchase the medium. The length was the same but still a little tight in waist. There is an imperfection in the material but otherwise they are a fun alternative to wear for yoga and beyond.

Agree with the user below! Just received these in the mail today in an XS and couldn't get them over my thighs. All 5 of my other Beyond pants are S or XS depending on how I liked the fit when I tried them on, so I decided to go with the XS because I know they'll stretch a bit. Anyway, 4 stars because I just put my exchange in for a size small and the process was super quick and easy to understand! Plus, the material seemed great and sturdy minus the size issue. I'm hopeful I'll get the right size eventually and am willing to wait! Will try to update this review when I get the new pair if I can!

Not in love. They roll down like crazy.

Softness, pressure and look is amazing. I had to return due to the length. I wish they would be available in short lengths.

I have the same pant in a different color from a few years ago. They are the perfect fit and length. This pair is quite a bit shorter than the last pair. If they changed the design it is too bad they didn't make a "tall" version of this pant! I had to return. If you are on the shorter side the length will be fine!

When I went to alterations, I struggled to pull them up. They are smaller than my other pairs that are identical, but different colors. Even the alterations lady said they seemed longer and different than my other pants. :woman-shrugging: I love the blue!

It is also the only one that does not come in fun colors.

They are soft and feel great. They feel supportive. But!!! They have no pockets. In this day and time no yoga pant - no pant whatsoever - should be pocketless. There is no excuse. It's a form of sexism and certainly negative reinforcement. Three stars for that probably should be two.

I really liked these but I chose to return them because they are so high waisted they roll down a bit. I do have a short torso. The waist stitching is a bit tight too. But the leg of the pant is perfect. I am either a xs or small in beyond yoga. I got the small.

These are a little long

These pants are amazing'but unfortunately too short. Im 5'9'. I'm surprised that BY doesn't make this style or the flare style in multiple lengths. Spacedye fabric is my favorite and the fit elsewhere is great. Bummed!

I was so looking forward to my first pair of beyond yoga pants. The material is soft and the colors are great. However, these practice pants run quite small. I am 5'5", 125 pounds and generally wear a size small in any yoga pant. I started with a small but they felt a little snug and a little short. I exchanged for a medium thinking this would be the perfect fit. They are still too short. If I stand still the length barely hits the top of my sneaker back. Because the thighs are still snug fitting as soon as I start to move they inch up even more and I am constantly trying to pull the legs back down. I wanted these to be my favorite but I pass over them every time I open the drawer because they just don't fit right.

I have many space dye leggings and love them. I bought the practice pant in the same size and love the look ( balances out my hips) but perhaps because they are not tight at the ankle, they creep up into all parts unwanted, front and back so I have to wear undies with them.

I had just bought BeyondYoga pants in small that fit great and am within the sizing guide for small but these were extremely tight.

I tried ordering 4 of these pants in hopes of getting a pair with a long enough inseam. I am 5'6" and these fall so short on me about 3" too short sitting high above my ankle. Very disappointed as the rest of the pant fits and looks great. If you are shorter than me this pant is for you.

I had high hopes for these, as I find bootleg more versatile than leggings. However, these were noticeably too long for me at 5'4". They also seemed a bit thinner than the Caught in the Midi leggings, and less flattering overall, so not worth the effort to hem. One or the other issue and I would have likely kept them, but with both these sadly were not keepers.

I love these pants and would live in them if they did not shirt after the first wear. I am 5'9 and they look like "high waters". Probably wont wear them again which is a little disappointing with the price

I loved almost everything about these pants with the exception of high rise tight waist band. I'm now thinking I didn't really need that high rise as it rolls down and seems even tighter. I don't recall this style being available in a mid/natural waist with a bootcut leg. I'm 5' 7" and 163 pounds and I don't have an hourglass figure.

this fabric is amazing - buttery soft and definitely lives up to the hype! took 1 star off because they are pretty short. I am 5'8" and these sit mid-ankle on me. after a wash and hang dry, they got a little shorter which sadly makes me take another star off. I really wanted to love these but now I can only wear them at home without feeling self conscious about the length.
