Holy cow! DEFINITELY hard to get your foot in!! Almost gave up the first time. I have a slightly wider than M foot and *with help* was able to get these on an off. I've tried them every day for a few days and they are getting easier to get on and off. The actual footbed is incredible comfortable. I normally only wear Alegria, Altra, and Birkenstocks but these had tons of room for my toes and were very comfortable with my custom orthotics. However, my shins are BRUSED from how tight the shafts are. I realize these are leather and my husband even suggested taking them to get stretched. I do like them, and it's really hard for me to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. Not sure whether I'm going to keep them or not. On a side note, I see a lot of people review that the pull tabs on their boots rip out and are just for show. These are NOT just for show! I have never pulled so hard on anything and they haven't budged. :)

Unfortunately the 4.5 AU was too small for my size 7.5 US feet. This shoe is so cute but I think even with a size 5 AU it would be too hard to pull on and off because of the tall collar. These shoes are so cute and I wish that they worked. Definitely measure your feet to find the right size!!

I'm still not a fan of the double loop style but for how comfy they are, I got over it. These aren't too heavy and I've worn them all over 2 week trips where there's a lot of walking. I get plantar fascitis pain and these don't bother my feet at all. I can wear a thicker sock without it getting tight and know it can weather the elements

I love these BUT I could not easily get my skinny ankle through the elastic ... it took much pulling effort, and getting them off was even more difficult! It's a beautiful and well made boot, and I wish I could make it work for me.

My casual go-to for park walks, hikes, garden work and hockey games. Comfortable, protective and warm when paired with wool socks. Resilient to wear and tear.

LOVE this brand.. and it delivers yet again. Comfy, great fit and stylish!

These are great. Break in was fast, like great straight out of box.

Best boots I've ever had. Can't stop wearing them. So comfortable from the first wear - no break in required. Good for work, town, sunny days and snowy slush. My other shoes are feeling neglected.

Gorgeous boots. They take some breaking in at the throat as it is a snug fit. Love love otherwise. Boots for life.

These are my second pairs and I needed to break them both in. This time I learned my lesson and sped up the process w a shoe instep stretcher.

I love these boots, but the first few times taking them off I had a hard time. Very tight. Now, they are starting to loosen up and feel great!

These are super comfortable! I got them this morning and have been wearing them ever since. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9. I am wearing these with thick smartwool hiking socks in size 9 and they are perfect. I previously tried Nisolo chelsea boots and they were way too narrow. The ankle area is tight but not uncomfortable and I am certain it will loosen with time. Getting them off is tricky but my last three pairs of chelsea boots all failed at the zipper so I’m ready to go with a pair with elastic this time around despite the difficult in removing them.
