These shoes look lovely but they don't seem very comfortable. They run half or one size small and as tight as they feel, they don't seem to hold my ankle well and the back of my foot doesn't stay in place when I try to walk. I am normally a 7.5 US but these didn't fit.

AT LEAST a full size smaller than marked. I usually take an 8. The 8.5 were tiny!

I’m always a size 9 but went up half size to 9.5 after reading other reviews. The 9.5 is still snug but with thin footies are very comfortable. (I have another pair of BedStu boots in sz 9 that fit fine). Love the look, it’s a beautiful bootie. Definitely go up half or whole size.

I love the leather and the whipstitch on these boots! They are just what I was looking for. I had just bought a pair of Bed Stu shoes and the 9 1/2 fit perfectly. I ordered these in a 9 1/2 and they were a lot tighter than my other pair. These boots are very narrow at the tip of each boot-and I have narrow feet. I like them so much that I am working on trying to stretch them out slowly the old fashioned way.

As with the other reviews, this bootie does run narrow and at least a half size small- possibly a full size depending on your foot width. I have small feet so the half size up was fine. The bootie is very well made and felt comfy - but it wasn't what I was looking for so I am returning them.

Reviewers advised to get a half size larger. I did. They were too long and slid off of my heel every step. The width was fine on the right and too tight on the left. The left was longer feeling than the right. My left foot is the bigger foot. So none of it made sense other than maybe these are seconds. I tried another pair of 8.5...too tight and too narrow. So when I say too narrow I mean that inside on the bed of the sole the framework there is too narrrow. If the leather were to stretch it would not matter because the floor of the bed was too narrow. My feet are considered normal width. The whole thing was puzzling and sad because the style, the leather, the color is awesome. Quality control? Higher someone to inspect the cuts? This is the 5th style of Bed Stus I have tried and they come up with the same problems. My Manchester’s- no problem. Love. Come in Bed Stu! I am rooting for you!

The shoes look very pretty indeed, however they are way too small. I read previous reviews and bought half size up. I would have needed to go up one size and a half, which I do not want to even try as they probably will look too long or just odd. It is a shame because they are a good color, good heal and great looking.

Wow, this is a beautiful shoe. As others have noted, it runs small. Very small. I have numerous Bed Stu shoes and love this brand. This one is simply made incorrectly from a size perspective. I have doubts about a half size up working and concerns about how other fit issues would come into play if I went up a full size. I decided not to heed the warnings about the size. All true, unfortunately.
