I purchased this shoe for my 3-yr old son. I always love New Balance kid shoes as they have "Wide" and "Extra-Wide" options for my son's chubby feet and they are not too tight on the toes. I chose "wide" at first but it was still too narrow, so we have to return and get the "extra-wide" instead.

They fit really well. My almost 2 year old is a runner and he never tripped with these, which is often the case in new shoes. They must feel as comfy as they look because he's always happy to wear them too. Major plus that the Velcro makes it super easy to put them on.

My 3yr old son has a very high instep and it's hard to put on a lot of shoes. These are super easy to put on and his feet seem well-supported!
