My foot has a bunion and a Calais on the same foot the shoe protect the bunion concerning not enough memory foam inside the shoe for comfort where my Calais sits under the foot.
I'd also recommend:
I would try a shoe that is a little softer and not hard leather. Over all the shoes is great.

I usually wear a nine in men’s and that’s what I ordered. Surprisingly it was a little too big. So I returned for a 8.5. Overall very pleased with the feel of the shoe. Also it wasn’t heavy when I tried it on.
