Kiddo loves these shoes. He says they're very comfy but they seem to run a bit small

My son has a very high instep and New Balance always fits perfect. These were no exception. Their wide styles always work for him and he never complains his feet hurt. Well worth it.

The length and width are true to size. What’s been a little disappointing is the space around the ankle is very small. I unlaced the top holes to enlarge the opening. The “tongue” of the shoe is unusually long and pushes into the ankle but seems to be softening with wear. The back, raised portion of the ankle is stiff and rubs on skin. My son needs to not only wear higher socks with these shoes but he requests thicker socks to reduce the friction. We’re hoping they continue to break-in and soften.

I just bought these for my son and got a 4 and they fight tight now I have to go threw the whole process of returning them and getting a different size

Great looking product. Stitching and front toe rubber piece started to peel off after two months. Not the best quality....

These came apart at the toe with only 6 weeks of wear. I’ve bought other styles of New Balance and not had this problem.

These shoes are comfortable for my son, but they are not durable at all. He put holes in the upper material within a month of daily wear.

These shoes were very plasticy. The upper is shimmery as well. There is no arch support and the soles look slippery and don't appear to have any traction. They are going back. Very disappointed in New Balance for cutting so many corners

In less than three months the thin foam insole wore through at both big toes. The insole is not stitched down. So sand gets stuck, and it get bent and shifted around.

There is a little tab on the back of the shoe that rubs my daughter's ankle raw. we're three weeks in and zero relief. it seems impossible to "break-in". She is miserable.

my son is a size 4 and these look small for a 4 and I got selected the wide size and they are not wide at all. Hopefully the return is easy and fast my son needs shoes!
