My son absolutely loved how these shoes looked and he is just as pleased with how cool they make HIM look! I appreciate the easy closure system, which is a compromise between him being so impatient that he shoves his feet in (crushing the heels of the shoe), and the need to slow down long enough to tie.

My 4 year old selected these shoes from the pix online and they are now his favorite shoes. I ordered a 1/2 size larger so he could grow into it them but they are not awkward or cumbersome. Very stylish and durable. He previously had flex runners and while they were very stylish they did not last long. I recommend crew socks to avoid chafing at the ankle and Achilles heel. My son previously wore below the ankle socks and had no issue making the switch.

You do not actually tie this shoe so not good for a narrow foot as you cannot adjust it. Seemed great if you did not have narrow foot needs. Otherwise it was just to wide.
