I used to wear this brand a lot but due to foot changes I no longer do. I tried this sandal in hopes it would work. It’s a cute sandal and was comfortable but didn’t have the support it should. The sole seemed to bend with every step and was too thin.

Unfortunately need to return, unable to pull the velcro strap tighter, so does not fit around my ankle.

The molding in the bottom of the sandal hit in the wrong place for my foot, so sadly they have to be returned.

straps feel scratchy and uncomfortable.

These sandals were very cute and fit pretty well but they are very flat--there isn't much there between your foot and the ground. I need a little bit more cushion than that. Part of the ridge that is supposed to run between your toes and ball of your foot hit me wrong and was not comfortable. I loved the look of these so wish they would have been more comfortable.

! I was so excited to get these sandals. I have a very old pair that are a much softer leather .I love these sandals for walking and have never had an issue. These are stiff and the strap are not comfortable. I am sure they would give me terrible blisters . The quality of this new version is incomparable. Therefore ,sadly, I will send them back.

Sandspur Rose "Leather" in size 10, Cocoa/Coral. All the Merrells I've ever had tend to run large. These seem to run even larger than most. I'm a true 10 1/2, but my feet slipped all around in these size 10s. I may try a size 9, but I don't like the small elastic piece on the inside front ankle that will probably degrade and fail before the rest of the shoe wears out. Elastic these days is not made to last like it was 30-40 years ago. Would rather have another adjustable velcro strap in its place. Wish the lining of the straps was leather and not cheesy/cheap polyester material. Merrell needs to go back to the quality it was famous for.

Uncomfortable. Not enough padding in the sole.

The leather is so stiff that I feel a lot of friction against my feet when wearing them. Not the most comfortable shoes.

I love Merrell clogs for comfort, and these are more comfortable than many more 'dressy' sandals, but not enough arch support as compared to a Teva Hurricane, which I love. I usually wear 8.5 - 9, but these are very long, so you might want to order down a size. Also, only one strap is adjustable (on the TH you can adjust all.) I have a medium front and narrow heel, so if I went down from a 9 to an 8, It might be too tight in front (athough, since it's leather, it would stretch after a while.) I wanted a black comfort sandal for walking, but think I'll keep looking.

The microfiber lining and the velcro felt irritating and itchy on my feet. The shoes are cute but I knew that the poking velcro and microfiber would itch too much. Not sure why they use leather and then all the other man made materials. Had to return.

It's really too bad the top strap isn't adjustable because they run large and wide at the toes. The width makes them comfortable but I can't imagine walking on an incline or uneven terrain with that width, my feet would slip all over. To make up for that I tightened the lower strap tighter which cut into my foot. They don't come in half sizes and a full size down would be too small. I'm an 8 and ordered an 8 as Zappos suggested. The footbed is softish and it had moderate support.

I own several pair of Merrell sandals! This pair, unfortunately fit like they were a full size larger than marked. Zappos is always excellent to work with on any issue and highly recommend them!

I loved shoes, however the strap around the ankle was very uncomfortable.

Very comfortable

I am consistently a size 8 in almost all shoes. I can’t think of a time I didn’t wear an 8. These sandals were a full size too big.
