I bought a size 9 in previous Nike running shoes but these feel at least a half size larger

Definitely good for running but could be better in terms of support under the front part of the foot.

Super cute shoe. It is a generous true to size meaning it is roomy by which I mean that I could wear a pair of thick sports socks and they would fit just right. The only criticism I have is that the nike symbol on the side indents into the foot a little and you have to break the shoe in/loosen it a bit before the pressure on the side of your foot goes away. I have only worn them once so far and to a Zumba class. It took half way through the Zumba class before I could no longer feel the side of the shoe pressing into my foot. I am hopeful that I won't have this problem again, but won't know until I wear them again. It is otherwise a cute shoe and fit well.

I’ve used these for working out/running but there isn’t a ton of support or traction. I can’t use them at work because I have slipped a lot. They are comfortable, breathable and cute, however.

Nikes are just too narrow. I wear an 8.5 wide, and even the wide in these shoes pinched my toes. My Nike Flex of the same size fit great -- the only pair of Nike's I own. This pair went back.

I have elderly, worn out feet. Always wear good shoes. Was looking for a comfortable walking shoe. The Downshifter 9 just wasn't a sturdy or comfortable shoe. Top was a thin fabric, no support, and didn't appear or feel like a substantial shoe. Had to return. Will look at different shoes in New Balance, Brooks, etc. to find what I need. Have purchased Josef Seibel for the fashion look and usual average walking, but for serious walking-back to the basic supportive white athletic shoe! Search is on.

These shoes were great while they lasted. I purchased them in April and wore them about 5 times a week and they were falling apart by December.

Weirdest fitting sneaker. It feels like the heel will slip and like it’s pressing into the bottom of my foot. Not very comfortable.

The lacing system is challenging at best. Difficult to use.

I would have kept these shoes but one of them slipped on my heal badly. I have never had that happen with any running shoe.

Was excited to get the light green for workouts and walking but there was something not right with the fit. They seemed just a bit tight almost everywhere however my heel kept slipping out. It's like they are cut too low on the ankle. And the shoestrings weren't long enough. I currently own and still wear 2 pairs of the Downshifter 8 which replaced a pair of Downshifter 7's. These were completely different. Had to return.

Incredibly weird fit! It feels a full size bigger than Nikes normally do and the toe box is huge -- it would fit someone with seven toes without a problem. Very cute colors though, so I might try a full size smaller.

Lacking quality. The tongue is too long and puffy.

Because of the soft top, shoe looks off centered.

Great looking shoe. Unfortunately, not quite wide enough for me. Unfortunately, I'll need to return it.

I thought the size was accurate, but I felt that the overall comfort wasn't really there which is disappointing since this is Nike. I've worn Nike shoes before and they've been comfortable. These felt somewhat cheap.

Feels flat and hard not comfortable.

I have worn these shoes about two months and they already have a hole in the top of the mesh where my toes hit.

Just got my order. Shoe felt okay felt a little tight across the toe area on my left side; but I think they may work out. It's not the best made shoe by Nike, but hey the price was good and I don't wear them all day everyday, so they will be fine. Nike can either make a great shoe or a cheap looking shoe and this is what this shoe is so don't expect more. BUT I really lIKE Zappos I get all my shoes from them they have always stood my what they sell. So I know that if these shoes don't feel right after wearing them indoors I could return them, Zappos gives you that complete confidence.

My granddaughter didn’t like the feel inside the shoe said it was bumpy around the heel inside the shoe.

I have never had a pair of walking shoes slip on my heel. At first I thought it was the socks but that didn't make a difference, the left shoe slipped off the my heel. Nice looking shoe but not made very well.

These shoes don’t last. Hole in the toe within months and only wore occasionally.

OOWWW these sneakers hurt the minute i put them on my feet. havent worn nike for years - gave them another try. felt like there was no cushioning at all. wasted my (now expired) coupon on them!!!!!! i figured nike couldnt be all that bad - wrong!!!!
