I'm trying to do the Couch 2 5K program, and my Saucony shoes tore up on the tread. I ordered these, and the first time I wore them, they hurt my feet, so I ordered some Dr. Scholl's inserts. I pulled out the insert that came in the shoe, and I was amazed at how truly awful they were. Now I have 65.00$ shoes that came with terrible inserts/support with Dr. Scholl's inserts. They fixed the problem, but if you have flat feet/ need arch support, you'll either be very disappointed or need inserts. See my photo of the insert that came in the shoe.

This is my 4th pair of Asics - so, I felt comfortable about ordering on line - BUT, the back seems to be cut shorter on these and after weeks of blisters and a band aids - they are starting to break in - but ouch.

Footbed is lacking cushioning, I went with Contend. Of course can't find my long time favoriate Kahana. These will do, but still not as perfectly comfortable as Kahana - Kahana has better arch support and better cushioning than these, but these are close enough.

Bought these shoes in January of 2020 -- by May of 2020, the seams were starting to come apart. A disappointing thing from this brand.

Shoe is light all right, but that is because there is no padding except at tongue and around the ankle. Top of shoe hurts at the end of the day. For me, it has to be alternated with another pair different brand. Having had ankle surgery I am restricted to oversized sneakers for a while. I thought I could get away with one pair.

The shoe was a half size too small. The insole was not very good. The laces were narrow and thin making them hard to keep tied. I've worn this exact shoe before and not had these problems ... wonder what changed.

The fit was good except for the heel which was way too big. I do miss the cushioning in the toe box. Older Asics models had better cushioning.

Not Comfy

Too tight, unfortunately! I bought them in a wide, but my feet start to ache within a short while of wearing them.

I like ASICS shoes; however, this style does not work well for me on trails. I don’t feel there’s enough protection for my big toes on the rough terrain.

They feel true to size and have good support. The toe box is roomy and felt fine initially, but after walking 3-5 miles the outside edge rubbed my baby toes on both feet to the point of blisters. I’m very disappointed because I loved my venture 6 and never experienced any discomfort from them. I’m returning them.

Only problem was the heel width was too big causing my heel to come out when walking and my foot to slid too far into the toe box. Must return.

I like the looks of the shoe but others had said the laces were impossible to loosen and tighten, I agree. Had to buy elastic laces. The insole is also to narrow for the shoe. I am desperate for new shoes so I will try them out and see how it goes. Service was prompt.

I have to say I was disappointed. I tried my first ASICS with my previous shoes and loved them. These are stiff and not very cushioned particularly for a gel shoe. They are fine but not a great choice. I got them for a great price so decided to keep them but I am looking for a new pair.

The fit and size are fine. I stand on my feet a lot at work and they do not give me any support.

I liked these when I wore them at the gym but when I walked outside in them for three miles my toes did not feel good. They do have a fairly narrow toe box but I also went a half size up from my normal size. I returned them.

Loved the GEL-Venture 6. Replaced with these and the fit is just not the same and not comfortable. It's not too big or too little, just not right. The 6 was the best fit I've ever found in a moderately priced workout shoe.

Toe box is too low/tight. Had to size up a half-size, and still my (admittedly long) toes are getting mashed, which i think has to do with a lack of structure in the toe box. Otherwise they feel nicely padded and work fine w added (non rx) arch supports. The colors (red/mustard) are Great, and tan sole is so much better than white. They look great but I should probably return them for something that fits better, waaaa bummer!

I purchased two pair of venture 6 shoes in the last 18 months. Loved them. These are not as comfortable.

Not good for running

These look great and I love Asics, so it is difficult for me to give them a less than hardy review, but these are not like Asics past. I think I have typical 9B feet and can wear any brand that I have tried and I have tried many. My previous Asics fit perfect, but these are too snug in the width. Also, I was disappointed in the the shoelaces (not as substantial as previous models), and though I could have lived with the shoelaces, I couldn't live with the width so I returned. Though Asics disappointed me this time out, Zappos continues to rock.

These shoes run narrow in the width and toe box. Order up, but if you normally need room in the toe box, order another style.
