I love the color. I agree with another reviewer in that these aren’t really “black/silver” but more navy to almost purple. I like the color a lot. I ultimately had to return these because the fit is too small. I put them on and my toes touched the end of the shoe. I’ll be returning them for a half size larger.

I like the style and color. My problem is with shoes that rub my little toe. I have been searching for years to find a shoe that not only fits my foot but doesn't cause pain in my little toes. The shoe 'box' area needs to fit my foot to keep from rubbing my toe.

I hesitantly ordered the Asics Gel-Venture 7 but am very glad I did! They feel great! Great room in the toe box area, can even wiggle toes around. The one thing I have an issue with are the laces. The type of laces Asics chose does not stay and loosens way to easily. I'll be replacing them. I hope Asics discontinues this particular style of laces.

Overall this pair of Asics are comfortable to walk around in. I wished that its insert would be removable. The fit is great and being my first pair of Asics they were true to its size.

I have only worn them in the house but, they seem to fit well. I like the colors. I wish there was a bit more arch support but, I will add them and I wish there was the extra toe covering of past models. The toes are the first place to wear out on my sneakers ALWAYS. I have worn Asics for years and have been happy with them.

Purchased as a lighter weight product to use during summer months on North Carolina's Piedmont's region macadam and hard surface bike trails. TThey weigh 8 ounces each and I can definitely feel the different between this shoe and my Merrell MOAB-2 -- of course, the Merrell MOAB is designed for much rockier and challenging terrain, and way too heavy for twohour 90 degree/90% humidity Greenway walks. At last (after two returns of other products, both ttwo too three times the price), I found this ASICS GEL-Venture-7's! Will they last into Auturm 2020? Don't know but at the sale price and it's only early May 2020, I have a lot of walking to do before I find out. I love my Teva's (through Zappo's, of course!), but I am walking to lose weight and thes great sandals do not have enough support for me on macadam trails; ASICS Gel-Venture 7 do. It's a shift to wear a GEL-Venture 7 as my previous brand was HOKA (Coronavirus-shipments delayed from VietNam) and ASICS Gen-Venture 7's a good deal less expensive. Judging by experiences with recent model HOKA's, much more durable. A good choice for a shoe for hard trails and environments in which a sandal does not provide sufficient support on long, hot, humid East Coast days.

A recent purchase; update after summer ends!

Very comfortable. True to size. Lots of room at toe and good fit at heal. My heal is narrow and I often have a hard time with fit in that area. These were perfect. Only thing that I can't figure is the lace up....doesn't close very much, wide. I can't make it much tighter, so feels too tight to pull in. Other than that...these are great.

The only reason I sent these back is that I need a half size larger. Otherwise they are great.

I usually wear a 10M in Asics, however, this 10M seemed a bit narrower than other Asics 10M that I've had. So, I tried the 10 wide and it was a bit more comfortable, so I returned the 10M. The difference may been unique to the particular pair of shoes, because I also ordered the 10 medium in another color (Rock/Fawn) of the same shoe, and it fits fine, and I kept it .

I ordered an 8W & it felt like a traditional B width.

I like the shoe, just the front feels a bit wide, my toes feel like it actually has to much width room.

I usually wear an 8.5, except in athletic shoes, and get 9 and that is not to accommodate bulky socks because I wear a thin sock. I got a 9 in this shoe and its just right. So hard to say if runs true to size, I guess true to size if you routinely size up half size for athletic shoes. Only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because the laces are horrible. Very thin, don't stay tied tight. I will have to replace but am willing to do that because I like the shoe so much. I have very flat feet and don't easily find a comfortable shoe. Also first pair was defective, but Zappos stellar customer service made it right with no effort on my part. Never have to worry about any order issue, Zappos is the best!

I bought these shoes to wear when I started taking walks around the neighborhood. I go about 2-2.5 miles per walk, sometimes alternating between walking and jogging. Terrain is a combination of paved sidewalks and walking on the roads. When I first tried them on, the cushion was immediately noticeable. It took a couple of walks to get used to them (my previous shoes were lightweight Sketchers), but they are supportive enough for my needs. The pink/gray combo matches most of my workout wardrobe, so it easily coordinates with most of my outfits.

These are very comfortable and seem sturdy. I have high arches and they support my feet well. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the shoelaces are terrible. They are cheap and I have to stop and tie them during a walk with my dog numerous times. Drives me nuts. I chose the charcoal color and that was my mistake. They are very masculine and kind of ugly. I'm keeping them because I think they are a practical color and they are comfortable.
