This shoe fits well for a wide and gives a moderate arch support. The lace system uses a loop for the middle section and that puts a 'gap' in the lacing which impacts the arch support for me. It would be an improvement if they had the consistent hole lacing system. I dislike wearing a sports shoe but these look a bit better than many out and about during the day.

I can tell they aren’t as supportive as the gel nimbus, but for half the price I was expecting that. Fine for a regular everyday walk around shoe.

I have high arches and tall feet. Even with the laces loosened, these were too tight across the top of my feet. I wore them while at home sitting and not much walking, and my feet were very uncomfortable within 10 minutes. If you have tall arches/feet, try a different style. Returning.

I love Asics! Only shoes i wear. Fit is great. I go right to website and can order my size in any style and trust that the shoe will fit. I wear gel-venture for work shoes. I work in a hospital and am on my feet 8+ hours. I order a new pair once a year typically and can trust they will last. I have different styles for workout and everyday wear as well. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there isn't as many options in wide (D).

The sneaker is very comfortable and I have already walked several miles in them. I have Morton's Neuroma and Bunions so I am very limited as far as shoes and sneakers go. This one is a winner.

The Gel-venture 7 is pretty good. I liked the Gel-Venture 6 better. The 6 had better arch support and better shoe strings. The shoe strings on the 7 constantly come untied, this was not an issue with the 6. I have high arches and the 6 was better for my feet.

I like the shoes but feel like they run a little larger than my other Asics. I bought them to run a Spartan race so hopefully they will be a good choice for that.

These fit fine but didn’t feel like they gave a lot of support. I wore them
on a day of a lot of walking and I couldn’t wait to get them off. I think I’ll use them when I’m doing the machines at the gym. But I won’t use them when a lot of walking is involved.

I've had shoes from this Venture line before and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the wider toe box has been narrowed by 3/8th inch, and the toe is more pointed, which doesn't work for me. Will need to return and try again with different brand.

These shoes are great for my Morton's neuroma which seems to get irritated by shoes that are too narrow and squeeze my feet. These are nice and wide without feeling floppy. 4 stars because I'm not super impressed with quality, my first pair ripped on the inside heel within the first year...however ASICS does have great warranty and replaced them. I haven't been able to find another pair of tennis shoes that I can walk in all day with out irritating my Morton's neuroma and putting my foot to sleep.

I bought these knowing I didn’t think they were the most attractive shoe. I just wanted something to use to walk on trails and a little mini hikes. Per everyone’s recommendation and Zappos, I ordered 1/2 larger. They were too big. My foot was moving around. Had to return them.
